I ordered the Mad Scientist "Howie" lab coat in black and some black leather gauntlets. I placed my order on 12/28/2021 and it was delivered on 12/31/2021 extremely fast delivery. Construction of the lab coat was superb, so good in fact, that I'll be a mad scientist for the next twenty parties. This is a professional costume that will stand the test of time. The leather gauntlets are real leather - they look and feel awesome. Based on the service and quality it was worth to spend the extra money to get high quality items. I will be making additional purchases and I would recommend Historical Emporium without hesitation.

I have made multiple purchases in the past 6 weeks, every single interaction has been great. I've had to send back a couple items due to not fitting properly. I received my refund the same day item was returned. I had to make a phone cal in regards to an order, customer serve rep was a pleasure to deal with. The product alone is priced fairly. The s&h and taxes especially if you are in CA, are hard on the bank account.

I was nervous about sizing, as like most, I'm not a straight size. I called, they courteously helped me decide on size and each of my 3 items (walking skirt, vest and Gibson girl blouse) came carefully packaged in just 7 days, although the vest was a 'special order' item and I anticipated a delayed delivery.
