Both bumbling biologist and breathtaking beauty, Deirdre Gibraltar is a somewhat-unfocused Rule-Keeper for the Bureau for Protection of Exotic Marine Species and Resources. Know to become so absorbed in the field research of unusual specimens found along the shore that she once let the century’s biggest poachers sneak behind her back with a net full of rare Shrieking Split-Tongue Eels.

Ultimately charged with negligent enforcement of the land’s Oceanic Law, this little mishap cost Ms. Gibraltar a month’s pay and the remainder of the year on administrative probation behind the drudgery of a desk. We wouldn’t be a bit surprised if this impulsive ingénue has stowed away a Snapping Sand Crab or two in her pocketbook to while away the hours.
