Natasha Pavel walks the shadowy line between dawn and day, dusk and dark. Although she received “the bite” on her milky, white nape months ago, a rare genetic disorder keeps her from fully “turning” like his other victims.

As a half-blood, this denizen of the night isn’t under the complete mental domination of her master. Able to exert an independent will around the clock, Natasha still feels a unexplainable bond to her vampire, that’s why she has to remain around the castle as his assistant. Some typical duties for the day include drawing the drapes in his room and pre-tasting his food for garlic.
