A VERY Classy White Shirt
Elegant and very well-made. The white-on-white pattern is beyond cool. This is NOT a work shirt, this is a very comfortable, dressy, highly-styled shirt. Perfect for Sunday church or a dinner date in a fine restaurant. The buttons, like those on most of the Scully shirts, are stunning, yet subtle. Great design, and, while I wish it had not been one of the rare Chinese products, the overall quality is flawless.

I love this shirt. As a European, it brings back memories of oldtime farmers and fishermen,with clogs, chalk pipe and flat cap, and washing clothes on a washing board. Or maybe it's just me, since those arem't steamboat gamblers. White and blue are classic and beautiful in cotton, and this linnen shirt is reality straight out of the past.

I like the cut of this shirt very much. I wish the manufacturer would branch out and produce variations in subtler patterns and buttons. I don't mind being an eccentric around the house to take advantage of the comfort. But when I'm out and about in the city, I would just as soon have something a little less costumey.

I would normally wear XL to get the neck closure but wear L if I didn't need the collar to be fastened. These shirts are generously cut (but not too big) so I can get a great fitting shirt in size L that still buttons up at the neck comfortably. Good quality as well.

I ordered this and several other items for my daughter's upcoming wedding. The entire package arrived several days earlier than expected, and I was skeptical of the purchase, but once receiving all the items I realized the material quality was high the fit was perfect and the price was great. I like Frontier Classics shirts except that the sleeves are usually too short for me. I’m over 6’ 2” with longer than average arms and legs. The fact that Historical Emporium stocks extra long, or ‘Tall’, versions of the shirts is perfect. I haven’t found them anywhere else (which is why I bought the shirt from them rather than from a supplier in the UK). I wish the long versions of Frontier Classics shirts were more widely available because this one I’ve bought is very good.

I do period recreations and Steampunk cosplay. I needed a shirt for a new cosplay not to dissimilar to the office outfits worn on The Gilded Age on HBO Max. This shirt is very close to what I was looking for and the price was not bad. It matched the frock and waist coat I got for the cosplay very well.
Understand in period, many white shirts were off white and not stark white. I love the texture and color difference.
If you are looking for a more casual Late Victorian/Edwardian shirt, this will do the trick.

Very good quality, nice and breezy and handy for summer. And the collar style makes it versatile, so you're paying for two different shirts in one. It's quite baggy around the stomach but a waistcoat takes care of that. I ordered 2XL and it fits me perfectly, which is pretty good for something I bought online.
With the collars starched up, I think it probably looks best with a deluxe western-style bowtie or a cravat.
