The print is perfect for my Victorian outfit for my daughter's Victorian themed wedding next year. The Louisa blouse washes well, and I hung it to dry, smoothing out any slight wrinkles. The sizing is a bit smaller, so I ordered the next size up, as the description said. The blouse fits well. Thanks.

Every day use

Some women friends and I are attending a Victorian Holiday Tea in December and we're all trying to dress in period costume. This blouse (and accompanying skirt) is just perfect. When I tried it on, my husband said "Wow! Now I want to go to the Tea too." I can use this outfit two or three times a year.

Very nice blouse, worked well with the other items I purchased for a special costumed dinner party. I've made a blouse much like this, but this one is nicer--plus it buttons up the front. After washing, it required no ironing, which is a bonus.

This pinstripe blouse was very appropriate for my black riding pants! The size was just right an the material is perfect. I need vintage attire for riding our old time bicycles at events with my husband. The outfits i have bought from here are of very good quality and i highly recommend!

My reenactment involves light hiking so I was afraid to get a pretty white blouse that would show every speck of dirt. I really liked the pinstriped blouse for its crisp appearance and slight formality compared to a colored blouse. I found it ran a little smaller than I expected, possibly because it is shaped more than less tailored blouses. The next size up was perfect. I love the sleeves and the beautifully gathered back yoke. It looks fantastic with the black walking skirt, and goes beautifully with my various silver vintage belt buckles on black cloth belts. I originally chose it because it reminded me of a Victorian-look pinstriped blouse with front ruffles and puffed sleeves that I already owned, but the front ruffles had serger-stitched edges - which just looked wrong. This blouse looks perfect - every bit as good as I hoped for!

Nice shirt, but the material and construction were not up to the same quality of the Margery blouse. This fabric of this shirt is very thin.

Purchased for The Dickens Faire. It's as pictured and the material is nice. What's more, I am a buxom woman, and no matter if I measure myself, blouses fit tight somewhere. Not this one! Shoulders line up and it's not tight across the chest. Thank you!

Purchased as part of a costume to play the role of a schoolmarm at the historical society. The cloth was soft and substantial. Very much like a shirt I would buy for everyday wear. I appreciated that it was long enough to tuck into my skirt without pulling out. Will definitely buy more from Historical Emporium!

I do like very much this blouse, except, the sleeve length, I have a M and a L size. I compared the blouses, found the sleeve lengths are the same. I bought the L for two reasons, the sleeve length and the fullness of the body. The fullness of the body is good in the L size. but the length of the sleeve, I needed a 1/2 inches or a bit longer. They fabric is great, and the design goes with several of my costumes. I just thought you would like to know.
