I sing in a Dickens caroling quartet, and we're updating our costumes this year. I've seen other groups using coordinating hat bands, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's perfect - it adds that little classy touch. Easy to put on my top hat.

Hat bands are one of my favorite accessories. They're easy to apply and one of the fastest ways to change the feel of an outfit, particularly if you have a tie to pair them with. I bought this one for my Valentine's day outfit to dress up an otherwise all-white top hat and really, the whole outfit wouldn't have hung together half so well without it. The one thing I always forget is that they do tend to crease in the package, so allow time to give yours a quick press before wearing....or, you know, don't. No one's ever seemed to notice that I've forgotten!

It was a little hard at first clipping it onto my hat. Once I clipped it on it held on well into the night and the times I used the hat again. It's a good look in person.
