Best fitting gloves I've owned! Rubbed some mink oil into them and they molded right to my hands. I use them out in the field and they are tough enough for camping, and I can actually do buttons on my field coat while wearing them.

These gauntlets were the finishing touch for my character: it's the little things that help bring the past to life. They're a pleasure to wear. They're very well made, the deerskin is incredibly soft, and they have just the look I was searching for. I'm also looking forward to wearing them this winter so they won't look so new next year.
As for service: a rousing 5 Stars as well! My order was pulled and shipped the day I placed it and was on my doorstep in 2 days! I do live on the Left Coast, but you'd be surprised how long I've waited for delivery from others in basically the same location.

Very pleased with these gloves. the leather on these gloves is very soft and moldable and the color very even. Perfect price for a costume glove that needs to look period appropriate yet let the actors move easily on stage. We would most definitely purchase these again for future productions.

I give the gauntlet gloves 5 stars. They are soft and supple ....the deerskin has a different feel then regular cowhide leather, so it is a nice change from cowhide. They are thick but not too think where you have to take them off to do anything. I bought these to use for riding my new motorcycle. I will also buy a pair of black silk gloves to wear under them for when it gets colder. They look fab on, and work for either men or women.

I had these on and was packing something up with packing tape. Some of the tape got on the glove and actually removed the "leather" right off of the glove. They are thin and the leather if real is very, very thin. I sent them back. Not recommended.

Gauntlet Opening Too Small
The Gauntlet gloves are well made and fit over the hand fine.
The problem with these gloves is the gauntlet opening, that is supposed fit easily over your duster or jacket, is too narrow. Unless the sleeve of the garment you are wearing is paper thin, you can't get the gauntlet opening over the sleeve. I was disappointed and returned them.

I loved how the gloves fit and felt out of the box and had worn then only a few days before tearing them up!
In an unfortunate happening I was in my first ever motorcycle accident. Without all the details I was wearing these gloves and they got pretty gnarled up but i Lost no skin on my hands. Road rash from my leather jacket being worn through.. a few holes in the gloves but they held up great considering I never ment to ask that much of them.

On a roll with another 5 star review..... I've told my friends about this website, the customer service and quality are the same, if not better, than any place I've ordered from. This is my go to shop to anything Western or Victorian.
These gauntlets/gloves are perfect! I measured just as they showed on the measuring chart and rounded up and the gloves are a tad big, but still fit..... like a glove! Sorry!!! I had to say it....
The quality of the gauntlets are great, they're very soft yet they command power when worn!
I'll be able to use them for a Western Costume but will also be able to use them with my Jedi (Star Wars) costume because the color works so well w/ brown colors in my costume! 2 uses for the price of one pair of gauntlets!

Bought men's medium and large set of gloves. We wanted to match our gloves and the men's accessories had the best selection. The medium was for me (female) and the large was for my husband. The gloves run a bit large so I am returning the large size in exchange for the small size. The medium sized gauntlets fit my husband's hand perfectly. Otherwise, the gauntlets are great. The leather is of good quality and very soft. Just the look to complete our costumes.

Heavy leather. A bit much for summer wear. Very sturdy. Will definitely wear them in cooler months every day. Cotton parade gloves wear out after 10 or so days so the leather is much more economical. I just wish there were a lighter version available. I am doorman/concierge at a historic resort hotel, so I have to look my best in period clothes.

Well fitting gauntlet-style gloves, perfect for cosplay and conventions. The leather is thin enough that I feel like I can still turn a doorknob or hold a phone, but doesn't feel flimsy. The forearm portion is a little wider than I expected, but I suspect when I'm wearing long sleeves for my outfit it'll fit a bit more snugly. Very satisfied.

These gloves are the perfect autumn or spring pair perfectly suited to everyday wear. Black stretchy polyester with lovely fine details around the ornamental straps and stitching with the cutest butterfly engraving on the small metal buttons. But the best part is the "touchscreen finger" which surprisingly works really well and I can now look forward to the first cold morning I need to break out these classic looking gloves that suit both modern and more classical looks.

Good pair of gloves that come with mesh over the thumb and index finger tip to allow you to text and operate your phone without needed to take them off! (I have not tried texting yet though so don't quote me on performance yet.) I wish the buttons were metal and a little more sturdier, but they're lovely all the same. I wanted a simple comfortable and versatile pair of gloves. Which I found in this pair. They're comfortable I have slightly smaller hands and they still fit me well. I like the finishing touches of the buttons with little butterflies on them. The fingertips have a special patch that you can use your smartphones as well. I did like that. For the price you won't find a classier pair of gloves.

First off this product was awesome! With fat lady fingers, these gloves fit and were stretchable. Bought 3 for a wedding for myself and my two sisters. (The Oct 31-st wedding is Steam Punk themed.) I think to be honest my expectations exceeded what I had read about the product description. I guess I thought the black deerskin gloves would be somewhat softer than they actually are. I'm not sorry I purchased them and I will use them, but I'll probably use another pair of dress gloves to go with my Historical Emporium outfit that I originally purchased these gloves to go with.

I wanted some gloves to complete an old west outfit after seeing them worn in a few movies. These gloves are an excellent combination of sophisticated dress and bad-ass attitude - just what I was looking for. No extra fancy stitching, just very well made and softer than soft. I was afraid the gloves would be a little too small after measuring my hand and rounding-down on the size, but that seemed to be perfect. They look and feel (and smell) great. You won't be disappointed with these gloves, unless you're one of those that complains about everything just to hear yourself squeek. Enjoy!

Decent gloves
A bit too large and bulbous on the index finger and thumb, and I would like it if the cuff had a snap or button to keep it from flopping about, but otherwise nice leather. They will look awesome once I add a snap to tighten up the cuff.

Snug as a Bug in a Rug
These are winners. Made to a specific size and not just S,M,L, they fit nice and tight and have to be gently pulled on and off. They have stretched a bit, as expected, but are still a wonderful snug embrace on my hands. They're almost like a second skin.

Wonderful Driving Gloves
I have been looking for a pair of good quality driving gloves. I did not want a thick pair like winter gloves. I wanted to be able to wear them at any time of the year. I have a 1928 Ford and a 1937 Packard. I am putting together a set of clothes that would be accurate for both time periods. These gloves are a great addition. They fit well and are well made. I have tried several other pairs of gloves, but these are by far the best. I think I will get many years of service from these gloves.

nice leather/ short fingers
Simply styled soft leather gloves. Would fit a wide hand with short fingers. Unfortunately, does not work for me. Not worth shipping back

Great looking full unlined leather gloves
Great for driving the car and for those that live in mild winters (like Dallas, TX area). They are unlined, which is what I wanted. They look great too. They were out of medium so I bought the large which actually fit quite well (I don't have big hands).

I am a connoisseur of fine gloves, from Italian Peccary with cashmere lining to American deer hide. I fount these gloves to be a very good value. I have been looking for an all purpose unlined leather glove for some time and chanced upon these when buying a gun-belt and holster for my .44 Magnum. These went with me on a recent Spring camping trip and performed well for dexterity and comfort. Used for driving and all purpose, hauling wet firewood and for light duty warmth. I can't yet attest as to longevity, but they have won my esteem thus far.

Not really dress gloves
These glove are nice enough but they are not suitable for dress gloves. They are too thick and bulky, and the stitching is a bit crude.

These gloves are by far the BEST gloves I have ever slipped my hands into. Made perfectly in the great USofA! The softness of these gloves cannot be described in words, you have to order them for yourself to actually feel what people are talking about. The fit is so comfortable you won't want to take them off. I wear them everywhere I go and they look cool as cool can be.. I will probably order another pair just to have down the road, these gloves are that good.

I love these gloves. If measure right, they fit snug and the insides are very soft. Good quality leather. Perfect for costumes or even just to wear as winter or driving gloves. Very comfortable and look great.

I rarely use the word exquisite, but I have to with these gloves. I love the feel of them. Smooth, soft, and almost buttery to the touch. I've been looking for simple, unlined leather gloves like this for some time, and am very pleased with the quality of these, especially for the very reasonable price.
