I bought these shoes for everyday work use. I ordered a size up because I am a half size and I have wide feet. Even though the shoes look narrow they fit well and surprisingly didn't squish my feet!. They are very comfortable and I can wear them all day without any issues.

I am very happy with the boots I purchased.

I have had to return the shoes to exchange for a larger size as they were too tight. I really can't give you feedback on the shoes inasmuch as I could barely get them on. I normally wear a 10. Only one time have I had to go higher in size until these shoes. I'm hoping that the 11 will be good for me.

I ordered the ankle boots to wear to a wedding in NOLA on Halloween weekend with a Victorian theme. Guests were encouraged to wear Victorian costumes. These boots and the purple parasol were the perfect finishing touch to my costume TY!

This was exactly what I was looking for to complete a 1920's costume. I ordered a size bigger than usual and do think the sizes are true to form, but is still working out okay with socks. Great customer service too.

Though stylish, these boots were not as expected. Very hard leather and was advised by Customer Service, as there are no 1/2 sizes, take the larger. I was swimming in the boot; no socks would have made the difference. Also, just wore them for less than 5-minutes in the house and could already see the "leather" may end up creasing. Cost me $11 to return.

Thrilled to receive these good-quality boots that arrived in a few days, were exactly as described, and are working very well for me in a production of The Music Man. I feel like you can't beat the price and the quality is solid. I did round up .5 on the size to leave room for socks and comfort insoles which was a good choice.

These are the absolutely most INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL booties!!! I got them because I have total foot drop and experimented with shoes that would hold my ankles at 90 degrees, and these have the perfect size little heel, and not only did I get my 'walk' back, but I get so many compliments on them!! NO MORE BRACES UP TO MY KNEES FOR SUPPORT.....I AM ONE HAPPY CAMPER and will be getting more 'booties' in other colors!! Quick delivery Very nice boots, comfortable. Only issue is the top of boot rubs leg. Hopefully this will go away when shoe is broke in.

I needed Victorian style boots for a music video shoot and was told about this site by my fellow actresses. They recommend I order a size up and wear thick socks for all day filming, so that's what I did. I simply cannot express my appreciation for the amazing fit and comfort! I received my boots and as soon as I opened the box, this terrible chemical smell came out. It smelled like fuel? The material the boots are made of reek. I was hoping that after a couple hours being out of the box, the smell would go away...but it didn't. So I went to return them, and found out that they do not pay for return shipping! BEWARE!! It cost me $28.95 to return these boots that I paid around $50.00 for. I debated keeping them, but the smell was so bad, I wouldn't be able to wear them out. Make sure you read return policies first!

I have very wide feet and these types of footwear tend to really hurt my feet. BUT, these are the most comfortable ankle boots I have ever worn! I wore them to a western event and was there 6 hours or better and my feet never hurt at all! I highly recommend them :)

I purchased a size 7 and the fit is amazing! I could wear them every day! I am a "B" width. My feet are neither narrow or wide, and they are not bulky, but slender. My instep is small, and my heels are slim. These were a perfect fit and I was not bothered in any way by the pointy toe.

I bought the boots for my wedding and they are beautiful and fit perfectly. The only problem I have is the laces looked cream color in the picture and are actually yellow and don't go with the my dress. I need to try and find new laces.

Love these boots! They've got grippy rubber soles, and are covered with a beautiful lace. They're quite comfortable too, and made of far sturdier leather than I expected at this price. Fun yet sensible vintage booties!

I have to admit, I was skeptical of ordering wedding shoes from a website that sells historical clothing. I'm used to shopping online through large retailers such as Etsy or Amazon, so I was nervous about this purchase. But my experience with ordering these boots was smooth sailing. They shipped within a week, and when they arrived they were gorgeous, and high quality. I'm using them for wedding shoes, and while the boots are antique white vs my dress which is bright white, I feel they still match very well. We are using these for a musical theatre stage play of Mary Poppins for the Jolly Holiday song to be worn with the white and red dress. I was concerned about the sizing but both of my Mary's say they are comfortable. They have been wearing them for rehearsals. They do require socks especially since these shoes being worn for dancing.

These boots are beautiful and fit well. Look is elegant and expensive. I purchased the 'white' and they are a soft white with a very light ivory white lace tie string.
