Looks good, feels odd
It looks the part from a distance, but the material is quite light and stretchy which feels inauthentic. I wish it were more like a heavier natural fiber.

As a washed up 90's celebrity, it's important to stay relevant with the young kids these days. I'm thankful Historical Emporium provides such sick poolwear for me to subtly say "Look at me! I'm an attention whore!"
Pro tip: buy the red AND the blue so you can mix and match!
My only regret is shaving my handlebar mustache before summer.
Can't wait to take a deeper dive into the Historical Emporium catalog for more sweet duds!

I'm a professional Santa and I bought this for a beach vacation this year. Overall I like the product. It fits true to size, looks great, and my XXL was roomy enough for my ample Santa stomach. The fabric is a bit sheer, so I also bought (elsewhere) red underpants and undershirt.
The only criticism I have is that the pants have a very low-rise waist, so it rides like old hip-hugger jeans. However, the top comes down to mid-thigh so the waist is well covered... it just feels a bit uncomfortably low. But I'm old, so what I find uncomfortable you may not. Overall very glad I found this.

I have a need for this suit for a Christmas in July event in Florida. It will be at a splash pad and with the temperatures here I’m going to enjoy just sitting in the water but all hopes are it will be a big hit. I washed it per directions let it hang up to dry and it is colorfast.

I absolutely love wearing this. Its a timeless look that keeps me comfy in the sun. My partner got one where the top matches and has the old sailor blue shorts and she looks 10/10 while wearing them. We look good side by side. The material of the shirt doesn't just stick to you while in the water. It flows and is comfy the entire time. I ordered a large and its super comfy, I normally wear shirts between size M and L.

Great for my Polar Bear Plunge
I bought this suit last year I figured since I was doing my first Polar Bear Plunge I might as well do it in style. I wore it again this year and it made the online photos done my our local newspaper.

From the other reviews I understood that this suit was a little sheer. Being a Santa, I didn't think that it was a good idea to go around flashing anybody, so took other reviewers advice. I got some red undies and t-shirts to wear underneath it. Works fantastic, looks great and I'm looking forward to wearing it the next time swimming or sunbathing is in my schedule. Fun suit..!!!

Helped win a costume contest
I bought the 1900s Bathing Suit to match up with a character from a children's book - Burt Dow, Deep Water Man. At the gala, wearing just the top underneath a yellow slicker, I was almost immediately a finalist in the costume judging and in the end won the contest. A great shirt to have on hand in my costume closet. Thanks.
