So I'm in a western show! Lots of fight scenes horseback riding etc. I only did the belt hold up two guns it barely shifted and stayed in place very comfortable although thick. But works great Love the smell of leather it comes with

Its a nice belt but the big part of belt that goes behind the belt and buckle i think is too short it needs about 3 more inches in lenthother than that i love it.

If you are looking for high class tooled leather with a super clean finish and carefully made, this is not the belt for you. Having said that, the belt more than fits the bill for an average cartridege belt. You get what you pay for and this was reasonably priced.

I bought this belt and a cross draw holster so I could carry one of my 45 long colt revolvers while on the UTV. WORKS GREAT. Good quality and very comfortable.

Great piece of equipment, thick tooled leather, heave buckle with, at size 44 holds 27 long colt cartridges, all real of course! Great product that will yield years of service.

This belt is very stiff. I ordered the suggested size (two sizes more than the waist) without an accurate measuring, and I could barely get to the first belt hole. The dyes will transfer to clothing a bit. I put my belt into a warm bath and rubbed the belt with a cloth to remove the excess dyes. The dyes transfer to the tub bottom but scouring powder removes the dye from the tub perfectly. After removing the belt from the tub, I pat-dryed the belt then stretched it. After it dried I was able go get three more belt holes to fit. There is no fading from this process. The cartridge loops hold rounds snugly. Order one or two sizes more than the suggested size for a better initial fit.

Nice made holster, no problem at all there. I read the sizing information and ordered accordingly. Way to small when I got it. Barely can buckle it in the first whole. Maybe I can sell it and order another three inches larger than the size chart says.

Shipment arrived as estimated, actually a day early. Pistol belt is of quality construction. Stitching in the leather is solid. Cartridge loops are perfectly sized to .45LC. Only reason for 4 stars is that the leather was a bit dried out when I got it, but after an application of leather conditioner, belt is in tip top shape and should last a lifetime of use out in the woods.

I returned the 1st cartridge belt due to a flaw ( cut ) I contacted Matt, he took care of it, to 100% satisfaction.

Great gun belt. Fits perfectly. Goes great with the matching cross draw holster that I ordered with it. Staining was very good. Almost perfectly matches the new leather sheath I had custom made for my old (and now restored) Bowie knife.

This is a nice belt. Good thick leather. The only issue I have with it is that the black leather dye comes off on your hands. I would also recommend you order a size or two larger than what your hips measure.

Quality and workmanship were good for the price. Better of both can be found but at a much higher price. I would have preferred more the twelve cartridge loops, and I would recommend one more inch above the four inch increase above the waist size recommended for proper fit.

I ordered the gun belt and holster which I love it. I orde4red size 36 and it was to large , but I did not send it back for a exchange, I might gain weight. I liked it so much that I ordered a black tooled cartridge belt, and because of the above I ordered a size 34, when I got it the 34 was to small. I sent it back for exchange.

Have to do a lot of rubbing to get black dye off edges of belt otherwise it gets on hand and clothes. Large end of belt did not fit into loop easy and I am having to stretch it out to fit. Still haven't been able to pull loop out to fit over hammer of pistol.

The belt I received is short. It says 34 on it but barely makes it around me. It should be about 2inches longer. I ordered it the way your directions said but am dis-satisfied with the fit. I would like to get the proper size. The holster is perfect, I don't need to exchange it.

I found this belt to be of the highest quality, it is by far one of the best I own.

Getting the right size on holster belts is a real challenge. The first one I ordered, matching my hip size where I wanted the belt to ride was too short, so I had to return it and order one 4" longer. The time from placing my order to having the belt was outstanding. It is still very stiff and will take awhile before it can be put on easily. Someone told me mink oil is best for softening new leather. The tooling looks great and so overall I am very pleased. An evaluation of how long it will last and how durable it is will have to wait

I was completely satisfied with the quality of the belt. My problem was that your site did not provide a clear cut explanation on how to determine the correct size to order. I odered according to the belt size I normally buy. In my case a 36". When the order arrived as I expected. I tried it on and found I could only reach the first hole on the belt. I promptly repackaged and returned it (at my expense) and requested the next larger size (38). When I received it I tried it on and I couldn't reach the first belt hole; it was clearlysmaller than the 36". I called and discussed it with one of your customer rep's. Incidentally all of them were very professional. After discussing with the rep I didn't feel confortable in the process to determine the size and decided to return it for credit. I ended up ordering the belt from one of your competitors. I originally also ordered a Holster. See that for other comments.

the only reason I did not give it a five star is the buckle is not of high quality. for a couple of pennies more they would have a first rate rig that would be the pride of any owner who is looking for this style and setup. as for the belt and holster, very nice and for service and speed top notch. please put on a higher quality buckle.

Absolutely love this belt! Great craftsmanship and quality leather! The .22 Cal loops fit great to the ammo, nice and tight, nothing falls out. I also have the the Historical Emporium cross draw holster and the pair are perfect for that nice slick western look. Do be sure to order well above your waist size, as they put in the description, but I didn't listen. No worries tho, just gifted the first one and ordered the second in my correct size, good enough to share and not return!

I really like the craftsmanship. The belt I ordered is for .22 cal and the fitment is perfect for both .22 lr and .22 mag cartridges. I ordered this belt bigger then I should have, but it still works so I'm keeping it (no return). If I'd followed your instruction on sizing the belt it would have given me more adjustment but it will be ok as is. Thank you!

This is a very good pistol belt, just what I was looking for. Good quality at a very good price. Really hard to beat the quality of the product, price, and customer service. Only wish the belt was lined, but that is okay. I did need to return the gun belt twice to get the correct size, but that was my fault. Will shop hear again.

The holster is what I wanted and needed. It seemed stiff but after reading product softener information the best advise was leave it alone and manipulate it by hand, which is the correct approach. I would like the option of a 2" belt to fit pant belt loops.

This cartridge is just as nice as the black tooled one I ordered. Its not as fancy as the tooled belt but just as functional and because I followed your measurement instructions on belt sizing it fits great! I think I'll get years of use from this belt. Thank you!

Just what I wanted. Belt was a bit wider than I expected (3 inches) and held a few less rounds than expected (21 rounds of 22 mag). Very comfortable and fits holster great. Holster is nice fit to my Ruger Single Six (5.5 inch barrel). Sevice and delivery was excellent. I would definitely use Historical Emporium again and recommend them to my friends.

It is well sized for 44 and 45 cal pistol cartridges. Snug enough to retain in the bandolier but not so snug that removal is difficult. Nice leather product.

It's an awesome bandolier.

I had been looking for a leather Bandolier to hold 45 caliber bullets from the day I received my Henry Rifle. Most places the leather ones were over priced. I wish I could send a picture how well it looks with the bullets in it. Now all I have to do is grab my case and knowing I have enough ammo ready to go shoot!

Quality of the Bandolier is Very Good (VG). The .45 Colt rounds fit securely in the loops (billets). Is comfortable wearing it over my heavy hunting shirts. Will be much more practical to use while hunting than a waist cartridge belt, and its associated problems.

The only Bandolier on the market that is actually comfortable to wear, of course if you have never carried more than a few rounds in a pocket you will be surprised at the weight 100 rounds ( I bought two Bandoliers ) adds ,but bandoliers distribute the weight better than a bag on a belt or even a belt with loops. I made some lame joke to customer service, about wanting more loops than 50, when I noticed that the description mentioned each bandolier had approx. 50 loops ( due to the excentricy of the manufacturer, or his inability to count) , customer service treated this seriously, and went into detail why they had no way to really help - sheepishly I thanked her and assured her I did not wish to cancel my order and I would be delighted with approx. 50 loops.Well I got my order and one had 50 loops and the other had 49, I now have a picture in my head of some employee of yours counting loops thinking we have got to find at least one bandolier with 50 loops! The way this bandolier is cut, the rounds never cut into your rib cage as ALL others do. Works great on rifle rounds, like 45/70 too (remember the weight). Five Stars in anybody's book.
