I read the reviews before purchasing. The reviews stated t hat the garments ran a size larger. I read where some customers were unhappy because they did indeed run larger to size. So, I ordered the next size smaller than I normally wear. I also looked at the sizing chart. Yet, when I rec'd the 2 garments, even a smaller size, they were still too BIG. Not even close. Very loose. I have sent them back and requested the next size smaller. Which is the only size left to me actually. W hat was disappointing was though I was substituting the sizes, you do not have free return shipping. I was dismayed to have to pay more money. $18.35. Most any company today offers free return shipping. To have it altered was not a choice, as the garments would have not lined up very well and the cost would have been around $55. I feel I did plenty research before choosing the size t hat should have fitted me. When the sizing is incorrect due to clothier, they/you should pay for shipping. At least a credit or shipping refund. The clothing was as described and well-made and I was not disappointed in their appearance.

It's just w hat I was looking for!

Historical Emporium is the best place for suburb Old West gear - the only better resource MIGHT be a connection to a good costumer for Western filmmakers. I wear Western clothing, from boots to hats every day, not for re-enactment, and I depend on HE for well-made (seldom Chinese) clothing. The fits are very good, the materials are top grade, and the styling is excellent. HE gets your order out quickly and efficiently. I have never been disappointed. I come to the website frequently to see what new shirts they have - and I even buy the same shirt in different colors because the materials are awesome, comfortable, and sharp looking. I seriously doubt there are customers who are more satisfied with HE than I, but I know there are lots of very happy customers.

The products are always top quality. I have never been disappointed. The colors are always just as shown on website, perhaps even better in person. Shipping is awesome. My order always arrives even sooner than expected. I am extremely happy with everything I order from Historical Emporium and so is my husband. I also believe the prices we pay for the product we receive are very acceptable and affordable. Top Quality merchandise.

Shipping was very fast and order was correct. When a return and refund was needed, all was handled efficiently.

My experience here has been very smooth. Nothing to ruffle my feathers at all. I found everything I needed, and perhaps in abundance; colors and styles to choose from and construct the perfect regency outfit. While some might be out of stock, that did not limit my imagination in the slightest. I am wholeheartedly grateful for the Historical Emporium to exist.
