I've been quite happy with the product and service I've received from Historical Emporium over the years. The Patterson and Livingston trousers are no different. The fit is perfect using the measuring guide. Follow the instructions, though; these do not fit like modern pants. The quality is outstanding; if they're like previous trousers I've owned from Historical Emporium, I know they will last for many years of frequent wear. The brushed cotton is very unique; a soft peach-fuzz texture, but also durable like jeans.
As for customer service, my orders have always shipped promptly. When I needed to exchange a product, it was taken care of quickly. When I've had questions, the customer support team replied to my emails promptly and professional. Overall, I highly recommend these trousers and Historical Emporium.

I first discovered Historical Emporium a few years ago when I wanted a special look for my daughter's wedding. This latest purchase is just for an old time look with no special occasion in mind. Bought them 2" bigger than my usual size, as per suggestion, and the fit is perfect. Tailor charged $20 to hem them, so glad I got them on sale!!! Extremely comfortable, cool looking pants!! I'm a repeat customer and selection, prices, and service are always the best!!

We are members of MAFCA, the Model A Ford Club of America. We drive a 1928 Roadster and like to period dress for events and occasions. These trousers, knickers, shirts etc. from Historical Emporium fit the bill. Even though they are earlier vintage, for working guys, they are still in style for the 20's, 20's and even 40's. The fit is good and the quality high. Love the stuff! We are hosting the MAFCA 2024 National Convention at Ruidoso, NM in June and are rigging up for the festivities with new duds.

We attend the Great Dickens Faire in the San Francisco Bay area every year since 2007, with the exception of, well you know, Covid. And my husband had decided that he would like a new pair of pants so he could change up his regular outfit. Coincidentally, doing some googling, we found Historical Emporium. Even more of a coincidence it was about 45 minutes from where we currently were, in the bay area. So we called to see if we could by chance get these pants by picking them up. And the answer was yes. The most amazing customer service I think we have ever had. Not only did they take the time to make sure that this was the right pair of pants. But I think they even stayed a little bit past lunch. I bought these pants for Halloween and I love them. I had to get them altered around the crotch and the length of the pants but in all honesty I liked that they only go based off of your waist size because it makes them much more customizable for your needs.

I am very impressed by the construction of these trousers. Very well made. They are exactly what I had hoped they would be. For some reason, they were a little too large (I measured my waist carefully) but I had them altered and they fit like a glove, so comfortable I don't want to take them off.

This is the second time I have ordered the Ferndale Striped Trousers due to their great look and reliable quality. While they are true to size as described on the website, it should be noted that because they are cotton, they do stretch once worn and heated up by the body - similar to how jeans will stretch out once worn several times. These are probably the best pair of pants I've ever owned, I wore a pair for over a year or so before the constant use and abuse wore them out. I was devastated when I could no longer wear them and the Emporium didn't have my size at the time, luckily they finally came back in stock recently and I couldn't be happier! They're comfortable, sit nice and high, and have plenty of room in the pockets. I love the stripes and how they look once properly hemmed, I definitely recommend 'em
