I have purchased over 2 dozen items and not yet to be dissatisfied with the high quality of merchandise nor the prompt customer service.

Theses glove work great with the impression I am doing and they were a great price. They fit my hand very well.

The glove fabric got a run in it upon the second wearing.

These gloves are not bad at all, but for people who have thin wrists, I'd recommend getting a white string and trying it around the wrist part of these gloves while wearing them. They are very loose around the wrist, and it may be unsightly if they roll up. Other than that, they go well with nice black formal attire.

The gloves are small and short at the wrist. Not happy.

White gloves are a 'must' for any Victorian ball, can't soil the ladies clothing etc. These gloves get the job done, thin, elastic, one size fits all, and, since I have very large hands, was glad they fit perfectly. The only downside was that I wish they were longer in the wrist area.....but at the price, I am going to get another pair just to have on hand.....perhaps my shirt sleeves were a bit on the short side....:}

I bought the grey, black and white gloves at the same time. They all look good with Victorian formal wear, and they fit my large hands.

These dress gloves look right in the pictures for what most might be looking for, however I would caution future buyers that these gloves are made of nylon. For some that are looking to be specific to the pre-1940s , you might need to look for a different source either here or elsewhere for the classic cotton, which can be found at a comparable price. As for these, what specifically drew me to return them stemmed from not only the choice of fabric, but also the very thin weave of them, which definitely left something to be desired. I am very happy with most all the products that can be found here, but like with anything there are some outliers, and this is one of them.

Well fitting, but a little thin for what I expected. They look nicer than plain cotton gloves so it'll add a nice touch to your outfit, but it doesn't feel much sturdier than plain cotton; those can be found cheaper if you're not interested in the dress gloves' style.

These gloves are a good fit, despite the fingers are a bit long. I should add, however, that my own fingers are a shorter average, so I do not fuss about that, particularly keeping in mind that these gloves are really inexpensive! They also add a great finish to my outfit. Don't regret buying them.

Black gloves with silver buttons that almost look like pewter. Lots of nice detail. I was very pleased.

These gloves are the perfect autumn or spring pair perfectly suited to everyday wear. Black stretchy polyester with lovely fine details around the ornamental straps and stitching with the cutest butterfly engraving on the small metal buttons. But the best part is the "touchscreen finger" which surprisingly works really well and I can now look forward to the first cold morning I need to break out these classic looking gloves that suit both modern and more classical looks.

Good pair of gloves that come with mesh over the thumb and index finger tip to allow you to text and operate your phone without needed to take them off! (I have not tried texting yet though so don't quote me on performance yet.) I wish the buttons were metal and a little more sturdier, but they're lovely all the same. A great piece to own and fit like a glove! ;)

I wanted a simple comfortable and versatile pair of gloves. Which I found in this pair. They're comfortable I have slightly smaller hands and they still fit me well. I like the finishing touches of the buttons with little butterflies on them. The fingertips have a special patch that you can use your smartphones as well. I did like that. For the price you won't find a classier pair of gloves.

Got these as a gift for my girlfriend. She uses them while driving and loves them! Apparently they're thin enough to pull off easily, but warm enough to keep her hands from freezing off when she touches the steering wheel. A good buy.

I think to be honest my expectations exceeded what I had read about the product description. I guess I thought the black deerskin gloves would be somewhat softer than they actually are. I'm not sorry I purchased them and I will use them, but I'll probably use another pair of dress gloves to go with my Historical Emporium outfit that I originally purchased these gloves to go with.

I wanted some gloves to complete an old west outfit after seeing them worn in a few movies. These gloves are an excellent combination of sophisticated dress and bad-ass attitude - just what I was looking for. No extra fancy stitching, just very well made and softer than soft. I was afraid the gloves would be a little too small after measuring my hand and rounding-down on the size, but that seemed to be perfect. They look and feel (and smell) great. You won't be disappointed with these gloves, unless you're one of those that complains about everything just to hear yourself squeek. Enjoy!

A bit too large and bulbous on the index finger and thumb, and I would like it if the cuff had a snap or button to keep it from flopping about, but otherwise nice leather. They will look awesome once I add a snap to tighten up the cuff.

These are winners. Made to a specific size and not just S,M,L, they fit nice and tight and have to be gently pulled on and off. They have stretched a bit, as expected, but are still a wonderful snug embrace on my hands. They're almost like a second skin.

I have been looking for a pair of good quality driving gloves. I did not want a thick pair like winter gloves. I wanted to be able to wear them at any time of the year. I have a 1928 Ford and a 1937 Packard. I am putting together a set of clothes that would be accurate for both time periods. These gloves are a great addition. They fit well and are well made. I have tried several other pairs of gloves, but these are by far the best. I think I will get many years of service from these gloves.

Great for driving the car and for those that live in mild winters (like Dallas, TX area). They are unlined, which is what I wanted. They look great too. They were out of medium so I bought the large which actually fit quite well (I don't have big hands).

I am a connoisseur of fine gloves, from Italian Peccary with cashmere lining to American deer hide. I fount these gloves to be a very good value. I have been looking for an all purpose unlined leather glove for some time and chanced upon these when buying a gun-belt and holster for my .44 Magnum. These went with me on a recent Spring camping trip and performed well for dexterity and comfort. Used for driving and all purpose, hauling wet firewood and for light duty warmth. I can't yet attest as to longevity, but they have won my esteem thus far.

These glove are nice enough but they are not suitable for dress gloves. They are too thick and bulky, and the stitching is a bit crude.

These gloves are by far the BEST gloves I have ever slipped my hands into. Made perfectly in the great USofA! The softness of these gloves cannot be described in words, you have to order them for yourself to actually feel what people are talking about. The fit is so comfortable you won't want to take them off. I wear them everywhere I go and they look cool as cool can be.. I will probably order another pair just to have down the road, these gloves are that good.

Somehow these gloves are thin but keep my hands warm AND I look fantastic in them. I bought them to match my gray scarf and it works quite well.

I'm not sure a pre-tumble in the dryer would have tightened up the stitching as the material is stated as all nylon, but unfortunately about two hours into Dicken's Faire the side seam on the fingers of one of the gloves split in two places. They did not fall apart, as I wore them the rest of the day, but I will need to re-enforce the seams with needle and thread. For the low price charged it is not a bad trade-off for a few minutes work.

I'm glad I ordered these as the finishing touch on my costume. They fit fine and the look made the outfit complete.

First off this product was awesome! With fat lady fingers, these gloves fit and were stretchable. Bought 3 for a wedding for myself and my two sisters. (The Oct 31-st wedding is Steam Punk themed.) All were pleased with these gloves. They were pretty and delicate with a ruffled edge. Everything with this purchase came quickly on standard post.

The fingerless lace gloves look good. I would prefer if you could offer cotton instead of synthetic material. Cotton would feel better, be less slippery, and more authentic.

I purchased two outfits from the Historical Emporium to depict a specific time period. I purchased one outfit for myself and one for my daughter. We received several compliments and many of our friends inquired about where we made our purchases. I called two or three times as I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted or needed. Each time I spoke with a friendly and helpful store representative. I felt great about my experience and would recommend this agency whole-heartedly.

Love these gloves..First I wanted full finger gloves,but, were out of stock so I had to order the fingerless in black. I am glad I did because I could keep them on all night and could eat, drink and anything else. Nice quality and beautiful on the hands. Looking forward to wearing them again.

The fabric on these gloves is wonderful, and the stitching is high-quality. For my outfit I rolled the backs down and pinned some things to the edges of the gloves, but the gloves held up wonderfully and didn't complain as I stretched them around. The major downside here is that I have large hands for a lady, and the fingers on these gloves are stubby for me... not unexpected (and certainly a problem I have had before), but it unfortunately keeps me from loving them. So... if you've large hands, know that these gloves fit like others you have likely encountered.

I loved how the gloves fit and felt out of the box and had worn then only a few days before tearing them up! In an unfortunate happening I was in my first ever motorcycle accident. Without all the details I was wearing these gloves and they got pretty gnarled up but i Lost no skin on my hands. Road rash from my leather jacket being worn through.. a few holes in the gloves but they held up great considering I never ment to ask that much of them.

These gauntlets are better than anything I even hoped for.

These brown leather gauntlets are not for show, they'll be used for actual horse back riding and are of excellent quality,i expect them to last a very long time.

So I got the gloves in the mail just a few weeks back in time for Halloween. have more than a few times and so far they held up and none of the stitching is come loose they are comfortable and when I ordered them they weren't too tight. And they seem to be breaking in well but we shall see in a few months.

I measured just as they showed on the measuring chart and rounded up and the gloves are a tad big, but still fit..... like a glove! Sorry!!! I had to say it.... The quality of the gauntlets are great, they're very soft yet they command power when worn! I'll be able to use them for a Western Costume but will also be able to use them with my Jedi (Star Wars) costume because the color works so well w/ brown colors in my costume! 2 uses for the price of one pair of gauntlets!

Bought men's medium and large set of gloves. We wanted to match our gloves and the men's accessories had the best selection. The medium was for me (female) and the large was for my husband. The gloves run a bit large so I am returning the large size in exchange for the small size. The medium sized gauntlets fit my husband's hand perfectly. Otherwise, the gauntlets are great. The leather is of good quality and very soft. Just the look to complete our costumes.

Bought these for a steampunk video game character costume, and they're a good length up the wrist/forearm and fit on the hands. Took the costume to the next level.

I really liked the look of these gloves online, but when I got them I was completely blown away. They are very supple leather and are really well made. My hand measurement was between sizes so I ordered the larger size. I wet them down and let them dry while wearing then and they literally "fit like a glove."

They're very well made, the deerskin is incredibly soft, and they have just the look I was searching for. I'm also looking forward to wearing them this winter so they won't look so new next year. Very pleased with these gloves. the leather on these gloves is very soft and moldable and the color very even. Perfect price for a costume glove that needs to look period appropriate yet let the actors move easily on stage. We would most definitely purchase these again for future productions.

I give the gauntlet gloves 5 stars. They are soft and supple ....the deerskin has a different feel then regular cowhide leather, so it is a nice change from cowhide. They are thick but not too think where you have to take them off to do anything. I bought these to use for riding my new motorcycle. I will also buy a pair of black silk gloves to wear under them for when it gets colder. They look fab on, and work for either men or women.

I bought these for day to day use, 3-4 months down the track they're still in as good quality as when I first opened them. They're soft, well constructed and fit like they were custom tailored.

They fit quite snug, making them a bit difficult for casual use, but they're really fun to wear. The inside will let off some black flakes for a bit, but that's just because they're newly-made, and that should resolve itself with use. In any case, they're very-well made gloves and I enjoyed the purchase. They feel very smooth and cover plenty for any upstanding gentlemen. An essential piece of any adventurer's wardrobe.

The leather gauntlets I bought seem to be nice quality, but honestly not worth the price I paid for them. They were overpriced, in my opinion.

These are superb gauntlets, fit great right out of the package. Soft, supple leather, easy to put on. This is my first purchase from Historical Emporium but not my last.

I had these on and was packing something up with packing tape. Some of the tape got on the glove and actually removed the "leather" right off of the glove. They are thin and the leather if real is very, very thin. I sent them back. Not recommended.
