This mustache should be taken off the market. The paste-on directions say that chemicals in the paste-on strips contain carcigens that are known to cause cancer. What Director is going to ask he actor to use something harmful to his health? Not me. I am returning the poduct and asking for re-imbursement.

Couldn't be better

Clever By Half Productions purchased this moustache for our production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, and it *just* fell shy of holding up to outdoor humidity conditions. Will you need separate spirit gum if you purchase this? Yes. Will you need moustache wax if you're using this outside? Yes. But ... the shape holds well, the back is quality, and the bristles will take a waxing back into shape. For the price, for no more than a couple of hours of wear a day, you could do a lot worse.

Moustache is not White, but Off White, Smaller than Shown, does not appear to be Human Hair.

I play santa and these mustaches are great....I sugest one thing...if the curl was tighter...I like my santa mustache were its a complete curl

The mustache is real human hair, and can be washed and styled. It gets quite flat in the packaging, and so it might be best to wash it and restyle. However, be prepared to have a curling iron for the ends. We used the mustache without washing, and it was fine, but did look a little flat. The ends will also stick out away from the face, unless a little additional tape is used to hold it in. These are not complaints, just suggestions on proper usage. There is also a mesh backing that extends around the edges. This can be trimmed but 1) the hair is actually woven onto the backing, so be careful; 2) it can be used to blend in existing facial hair; 3) it was not at all noticeable in our performance. Definitely recommend as a realistic mustache for performance usage.

I wanted to be the dread pirate robberts but I am a lady. I trimmed this down amd it looks just like his. Will buy again for Archibald Bartholomew Oldcastle III. I like the handlebar curls

This mustache was SO realistic. I applied it with eyelash adhesive and it stayed on all night with no problems, even through talking, laughing, and dinner!

I ordered this is Brown, but the color I received is closer to black. The ends weren't twisted as neatly as I would have liked, so I combed them out and re-positioned them with some hair gel. The hair is a little sparse, but with a little combing and some make up you can make it work. My husband uses eyelash glue to keep it in place.
