Moustache is not White, but Off White, Smaller than Shown, does not appear to be Human Hair.

I play santa and these mustaches are great....I sugest one thing...if the curl was tighter...I like my santa mustache were its a complete curl

The mustache is real human hair, and can be washed and styled. It gets quite flat in the packaging, and so it might be best to wash it and restyle. However, be prepared to have a curling iron for the ends. We used the mustache without washing, and it was fine, but did look a little flat. The ends will also stick out away from the face, unless a little additional tape is used to hold it in. These are not complaints, just suggestions on proper usage. There is also a mesh backing that extends around the edges. This can be trimmed but 1) the hair is actually woven onto the backing, so be careful; 2) it can be used to blend in existing facial hair; 3) it was not at all noticeable in our performance. Definitely recommend as a realistic mustache for performance usage.

This is a high quality mustache, not a dime store cheapie. The California cancer warning was an unpleasant surprise, and the box it arrived in was cracked and kind of flimsy. But the product itself is very realistic!

This mustache should be taken off the market. The paste-on directions say that chemicals in the paste-on strips contain carcigens that are known to cause cancer. What Director is going to ask he actor to use something harmful to his health? Not me. I am returning the poduct and asking for re-imbursement.

Clever By Half Productions purchased this moustache for our production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, and it *just* fell shy of holding up to outdoor humidity conditions. Will you need separate spirit gum if you purchase this? Yes. Will you need moustache wax if you're using this outside? Yes. But ... the shape holds well, the back is quality, and the bristles will take a waxing back into shape. For the price, for no more than a couple of hours of wear a day, you could do a lot worse.

Wore it for the first time in conjunction with a suitable Victorian outfit from Gentleman's Emporium on a visit to Virginia City, Montana. What a hoot. Everyone wanted our photo (but I'm rather certain it was my wife's photo they really wanted). Looked convincing and stayed on just fine all day, even in a breeze.

Purchased this for a funny character to wear in a murder mystery performance, so I wasn't concerned about how real it looked. I was very impressed. This is a quality product that easily passes for the real thing. I will have confidence about future purchases.

Looks good but the adhesive supplied did not last the night. Next time I will try 2-sided body tape like the kind women use to keep the dress in place over cleavage

This mustache was SO realistic. I applied it with eyelash adhesive and it stayed on all night with no problems, even through talking, laughing, and dinner!

I ordered this is Brown, but the color I received is closer to black. The ends weren't twisted as neatly as I would have liked, so I combed them out and re-positioned them with some hair gel. The hair is a little sparse, but with a little combing and some make up you can make it work. My husband uses eyelash glue to keep it in place.

The mustache is a bit puny. That is, the hair is not very full and doesn't cover the backing mesh very well.

I loved this mustache. I'm a drag king performer and I found it looked very realistic. So far it has held up over two shows. I've managed to attach it with spirit gum and it holds just fine and hasn't fallen apart when I take it off.

I'd purchased this item before, and experienced no problems (save forgetting to trim the adhesive!), however most recently upon ordering the same product found asymmetrical curls at the ends. I bought this stache for a petite friend who has very fair skin, I thought the blonde would be too light for her skin tone. It was perfect! Held up well with the spirit gum for the entire time we wore our costumes!

Dear Sirs I am sure the mustache is fine and would have looked very authentic. However, we did not get a chance to use it yet. The display that we did for college had to be carried out under the restrictions of COVID 19 rules and no one would have seen the mustache under the mask anyway. So we are saving it for better days. When I received it the mustache was much thinner than it appeared in the picture. I am afraid that when I put the tape underneath that the white will show through. Top to bottom and side to side length was fine but there were very few hairs on the mustache itself and there was hardly any gray at all in it. I didn't expect a white or totally gray as that is not what was pictured but I did expect there to be some gray in it. Otherwise the quality seemed very good.

Mustache adds that distinctive upper class look for the late 19th century period play that I'm currently performing in. So far I've got multiple uses out of the tape supplied but did purchase additional tape just in case. I am very satisfied with this product.
