This is just the start of my western ensemble. An "urban cowboy" now, I was raised country, with work boots, slopping the hogs, and a simpler life that I really miss today. Historical Emporium brought back a sense of those days with this cotton neckerchief. Often confused for a bandanna, the cowboy neckerchief was a larger and sturdier bit of gear. Like the shemagh, it has a large number of uses, from shade in the summer to warmth in the winter. Big enough to pull over your nose, it hides the highwayman's identity, but could just as easily keep sand out of your snooter on a dusty trail. Since I've gotten this fine piece of fashion, I've worn it just about everywhere (I'm at the age where I honestly don't care what anybody thinks) and have had several questions about it and even a few compliments. So, I'm a fan of both this neckerchief and Historical Emporium. I look forward to my next purchase!

Perfect for my John Wayne style, cowboy costumes… really big bandannas… I think 100% cotton… They feel pretty soft when they come out of the bag so I think it’s a tight weave. Seems well-made… Not too thick, and not too thin… With nice bound edges. My only hesitation in the review is that I think they are a little pricey for a square of cotton… But these are really hard to find anywhere else in the size and quality.

This scarf is hig quality. Its thinker than some of my all silk rags which allows it to lay a bit taller when I wear it to the front. The look and feel go really well with my western wear.

Excellent silk blend western neck rag made with quality materials, comfort, warmth and style. Just what I hoped it would be. Grew up on a cattle ranch and wore these scarves every day. Purchased three neckerchiefs for use as face covering instead of using a smaller bandana. Neckerchiefs are very large and, when folded provide solid face covering. Have had many complements and people asking where they might purchase one...sent them to Historical Emporium!!!

Goes with my hat, black bib shirt, black denims, and black cotton duster. Also works well with my Wrangler denim jeans, and jacket.

Nothing fancy. Just your basic neckerchief. It is what I expected. No complaints. Nice fabric.

As advertised it is comfortable. But for the price I was expecting not so shear. Looks to be an average shear. Chinese shear, silk head scarf. Could be possible to find same thing in a department store. Looks good and on a hot day. The thin silk may be a good thing.

Very fine silk, great size, & appears that it will be relatively colorfast in the sun; i cut the bright white cloth care tag off carefully with scissors

Bought this just to wear around our farm and keep my neck out of the wind. Works great.

Wife likes it. Nothing more to be said.

Good color and big enough to fit around my neck with out having to pull it too tight.
