Tobacco scents were hard to get out of clothing and furniture back in the day before dry-cleaning and mass-marketed laundry soaps. Generally, men slipped into smoking jackets to enjoy cigars and cigarettes at home because they were sent to separate rooms to smoke away from the ladies and the rooms tended to be cold. Thus the smoking jacket was born so men could be both stylish and warm.
This dashing smoking jacket with notch lapel features a soft, plush exterior made from 100 percent cotton velvet. The interior is fully lined with satin-finished polyester. Pockets galore including two waist flap pockets, one breast pocket, and three interior pockets.
Imported. Dry clean only. Available in sizes 36R to 56R and 40L to 52L. Offered in several colors.
