The tie is of good quality, and it is very easy to take on and off. It also comes with a sparkly pin, which is a nice addition to the tie. Definitely would recommend for weddings or formal occasions.

I needed a tie to wear for a charles dickens Christmas party and it worked perfectly.

Good for 1800s cosplay and such.

I'm wearing it to a formal 20's Gatsby style outdoor wedding, in a week. I will submit photos.

Wore this to a wedding this weekend. It was the perfect crowning touch to my Cowboy cut tux and western vest. Looks as good as the pictures here and it arrived early. I have never been disappointed in anything I have ordered from this business. The wedding photographer kept taking photos and said we were the best dressed couple. I got a ton of compliments and was amused at how many folks wanted a picture with me. Did I mention I love the tie?

This top hat is of a higher quality than the one I originally bought from Hats in the Belfry (and returned).

I purchased this top hat for more or less everyday wear, as I have to walk with a cane (your silver tone skull cane, in fact), and I may as well look stylish while doing so. The top hat rests very well on my head. It fits as sized. I added a few feathers to the band, and I have received several compliments when I have worn this top hat with my kilt and cane.

but I wanted a collapsible top hat but this is a good example of the top hat!!! I just wanted a collapsible top hat because my grandfather had a collapsible top hat when I grew up and I used it like a toy not knowing that he actually wore it

Very high quality top hat that was delivered in a box commensurate to it's size. I had ordered two other hats from a different company and they were both crushed because of the small boxes they were packed in. This top hat and quick delivery was absolutely with the money. I have always wanted a Top Hat. I purchased the Wahmaker Highland Frock Coat and have worn it to Court (I'm a lawyer). When it came time for the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Court House, I knew I had to wear my frock coat, but wanted a quality Top Hat that didn't look cheap. I ordered the Victorian Top Hat, the quality is amazing. The hat looks very nice and I intend to wear it occasionally come Winter. If you are needing a hat for a Victorian impression, I highly recommend this hat.

The watch works perfectly. It is well packaged and was protected during shipping. It is a joy to carry and use. The skeleton dial can be a bit distracting and can make it difficult to discern the hour hand in some positions. It may just be a matter of acclimation. I was glad to find this available.

charles hubert makes gorgeous pocket watches, very reminiscent of the victorian period. this one is beautiful and large, with an easy to read face. it keeps excellent time. the embossed designs on the front and back make it stand out, and also it resists fingerprinting. any pocket watch by charles hubert makes a lovely gift, or heirloom. it's fantastically rare to find something like this of real quality, that was not made in china.

I got this pocket watch for my boyfriend as a graduation present! He absolutely loves it! The window where you can see the gears is an awesome touch. I had hopes to get it engraved but there isn't really room with the design on the front and back. Other than that though I couldn't be happier--and neither could he!

As I had mentioned in a another review on this site, I found Historical Emporium [HE] while doing a Google search for "spats". There was a surprisingly large amount of info available. After looking as some sites I found HE to be the best; best in product selection, information about items, historical background about the products with the most important info being why these items were made and used to begin with. Proved to be very enlightening. I've used these spats with my regular shoes at the office to keep the cold air under my desk from getting my ankles too cold; I do have a footwarmer heating pad for my feet but the spats help to keep my ankles warm without having to wear ankle high boots. A surprisingly clever product that still has a place in the fashion/clothing world of today.

I was concerned about the sizing being different from what I was used to, but the measurement guide on the page was spot-on. They fit my shoes perfectly and don't impede me while wearing them. They fit over tennis shoes as well, giving me the ability to wear comfortable shoes without my shoes breaking the illusion of the overall outfit.

This pocket clock is very attractive; I like the flip-open case, and the authentic-old style Roman numerals. I am a volunteer docent and tour guide at the local National Park, and when leading tours for 4th-grade history classes, it comes in handy in teaching the kids how to tell time with an analog watch, for they only seem to know smart phones. Will "clockwise" and "counterclockwise" lose their meaning?

This was my first purchase from the Hisorical Emporium and I have to say I'm impressed. I had been looking for something different for awhile but could never find anything that caught my eye untill I found this website. I looked through what they had and was shocked to find vintage styl clothes for a good price and I purchased a red Twin city vest and this silver puff tie. I wore this to church and other events and immediately recieved complements from my friends who kept asking me where I got it but all that aside this is a very good product I love the adjustable neck band verses a clip on and the quality is outstanding for the price and I will be getting another soon.

I bought this tie to wear day to day. It is a stunning color and easy to wear. The only issue I had was that the tie tack looks a little cheap, other than that, I highly recommend this tie.

This tie fastens like a pre tied bow tie with a hook and clasp that is adjustable. The style and tie tack is unlike any you will find in a men�s store. It is short fat and flat at the bottom. his is the first time I tried these Cotton Neck Ties, loved them an I must say I looked simply marvelous wearing them. I was looking for the Wyatt Tie made by Frontier Classic, I still don't know if it is what I bought or was it made by another company? I do have one compliant, I like to know what I am buying, I don't like guessing, if something is made by Frontier Classic or Scully or Wah Maker, etc. state that it is. I suspect that others are like me, most of the Old West clothing makers cut everything large, so when I ordered shirts even though I wear an extra large shirt for work, I order large shirts, with Vests, I know what size vests fit me in different clothing makers, but if you don't list the maker I will not order them.
