The clothing that I ordered are for a Hickory Golf Outing. I also do reenactments / rendezvous, 1800-1850. Everything that I ordered looks good and fits good.

Funny, I figured that a piece of fabric wouldn't be such a big deal. I purchased this for an event at Sutter's Fort with my child's school. It was comfortable and looked nice. The website showed be how to correctly tie it, and I was complimented by the staff on the proper look. I am very satisfied.

Colors are rather unimaginative. Cotton actually works better than my silk version, and better than my synthetic version, as it holds its bow shape better. Cotton washes and presses easily.

I am quite pleased with the quality and value of the cravat. While the length is not enough to be tied as a traditional tie (twice-wrapped fully round the collar) the cravat works perfectly well as displayed in the advert. I have worn it only one day into the office, and it is getting plenty of positive attention.

nice item...but if you have a larger neck..this is way way to small to even consider tying it as shown in example. There is no way you can wrap it twice around your neck, even wrapping it once and trying to tie it is difficult

I bought this for my son who loves cravats . I wanted a cotton one for the summer. The cravat came very quickly . My son loves ed it. I do agree with other people that it is thinner than normal cravats so it does not cover whole neck.

This awesomely simple piece of clothing adds to any 19th century outfit, be it early or even late century, regency as well as late victorian. It is long enough to be tied in different ways to add some variety to your style. I have both silk/satin ties/ascots as well as this cravat, but if you are not so much a fan of satin and silk, this is a great simple alternative. The colour is wonderful, I also ordered one in black, the price is just great!

Wore this to a wedding this weekend. It was the perfect crowning touch to my Cowboy cut tux and western vest. Looks as good as the pictures here and it arrived early. I have never been disappointed in anything I have ordered from this business. The wedding photographer kept taking photos and said we were the best dressed couple. This is just the start of my western ensemble. An "urban cowboy" now, I was raised country, with work boots, slopping the hogs, and a simpler life that I really miss today. Historical Emporium brought back a sense of those days with this cotton neckerchief. Often confused for a bandanna, the cowboy neckerchief was a larger and sturdier bit of gear. Like the shemagh, it has a large number of uses, from shade in the summer to warmth in the winter. Big enough to pull over your nose, it hides the highwayman's identity, but could just as easily keep sand out of your snooter on a dusty trail. Since I've gotten this fine piece of fashion, I've worn it just about everywhere (I'm at the age where I honestly don't care what anybody thinks) and have had several questions about it and even a few compliments. So, I'm a fan of both this neckerchief and Historical Emporium. I look forward to my next purchase!

I bought this to use when applying hat stiffener to my black felt wide brim hat. It doesn't leave white fibers embedded in the felt from stiffening and steam pressing.

I really like the look of this tie. Though I've not worn it out of the house yet, My wife finds it very attractive. I was pleasantly surprised when the "diamond" pin came with it, which sets it off well. For an "all black" ensemble, this is a very good part of the kit.

I bought this for Mark Twain Days. Lots of people dress in 1860 attire for the event. I look like I just arrived out west during the Comstock Era.

All their puff ties are fabulous. So far, every one I have bought has come with the tie pin. Well made enough to dress any outfit, inexpensive enough to have a rainbow of selections. There is a little tab of fabric under the 'fall' of the tie, where you see the tie pin. It helps you stick the pin in and hold the ends up as puffy as you would like to make it. Excellent value for the price!

This tie fastens like a pre tied bow tie with a hook and clasp that is adjustable. The style and tie tack is unlike any you will find in a men’s store. It is short fat and flat at the bottom. Can’t wait to take off my vest and have this tie really look authentic with the high collar shirt whose buttons match the tie length.

his is the first time I tried these Cotton Neck Ties, loved them an I must say I looked simply marvelous wearing them. I was looking for the Wyatt Tie made by Frontier Classic, I still don't know if it is what I bought or was it made by another company? I do have one compliant, I like to know what I am buying, I don't like guessing, if something is made by Frontier Classic or Scully or Wah Maker, etc. state that it is. I suspect that others are like me, most of the Old West clothing makers cut everything large, so when I ordered shirts even though I wear an extra large shirt for work, I order large shirts, with Vests, I know what size vests fit me in different clothing makers, but if you don't list the maker I will not order them. Purchased for an upcoming western wedding. Color is not quite right for our occasion, but the color is so beautiful I am keeping to wear for church and other occasions. It even came with a silver diamond look tie tack which was an unexpected surprise! A quality tie.

Great tie looks awesome

Nothing fancy, meaning - not a lot of material, but the material that was used is quality and the sewing is well done. Only minor notch in the near perfect score is the latch system to clasp the tie together around the neck. It's hard to explain, but it turns sideways when latching, so it bunches up the tie strap. VERY minimal issue.... almost not work noting, except made it 1/2 a second more challenging to un-clasp when taking it off for the evening. THANKS!

It is solidly made and easy to adjust and put on. The pattern is classic and it is man-made fabric for those who do not want to support boiling silk worms to death due to objection to unnecessary killing of animals.

I have purchased several different puff ties for my husband's Edwardian wardrobe. All of them have been excellent! I really love the color of this one, and it matches perfectly with one of my Edwardian outfits. Extra bonus!

I really like these puff ties. Beautiful pattern, very classy. The only fault I have is that they clip on. Wish there was a way to disguise the cheesy clip to maintain athenticity. If I don't have a jacket on, the clip is clearly seen on the unfolded collar. Other than that it's a very nice tie.

Perfect for my John Wayne style, cowboy costumes… really big bandannas… I think 100% cotton… They feel pretty soft when they come out of the bag so I think it’s a tight weave. Seems well-made… Not too thick, and not too thin… With nice bound edges. My only hesitation in the review is that I think they are a little pricey for a square of cotton… But these are really hard to find anywhere else in the size and quality.
