This is a beautiful tie. I must have ordered the wrong color though as I got burgundy and my fiancée wanted me to get the pink to match her wedding dress. I like both colors so will keep the burgundy and reorder a pink.

The tie is of good quality, and it is very easy to take on and off. It also comes with a sparkly pin, which is a nice addition to the tie. Definitely would recommend for weddings or formal occasions.

This was my first purchase from the Hisorical Emporium and I have to say I'm impressed. I had been looking for something different for awhile but could never find anything that caught my eye untill I found this website. I looked through what they had and was shocked to find vintage styl clothes for a good price and I purchased a red Twin city vest and this silver puff tie. I wore this to church and other events and immediately recieved complements from my friends who kept asking me where I got it but all that aside this is a very good product I love the adjustable neck band verses a clip on and the quality is outstanding for the price and I will be getting another soon.

I bought this tie to wear day to day. It is a stunning color and easy to wear. The only issue I had was that the tie tack looks a little cheap, other than that, I highly recommend this tie.

The satin puff tie is made from colorful, medium weight material. The sewing is thorough. The design is excellent. The hook fastener is a little looser than I prefer, but it can be tightened with pliers. The tie comes with the jewel pin. The tie may seem a little expensive, but quality of materials and workmanship make it an excellent value. B

The puff tie itself is very nice, well made, and an attractive red. It even has a tab underneath to pin through and make a really good puff. The tie tack that comes with it looks inexpensive, which is not a crime, but the point on it is too dull to go through fabric, especially the under tab. If you already have a good tie tack to wear with the tie, or a fat darning needle to start a hole, you will be fine. Otherwise, it may be frustrating.

Nothing fancy, meaning - not a lot of material, but the material that was used is quality and the sewing is well done. Only minor notch in the near perfect score is the latch system to clasp the tie together around the neck. It's hard to explain, but it turns sideways when latching, so it bunches up the tie strap. VERY minimal issue.... almost not work noting, except made it 1/2 a second more challenging to un-clasp when taking it off for the evening. THANKS!

It is solidly made and easy to adjust and put on. The pattern is classic and it is man-made fabric for those who do not want to support boiling silk worms to death due to objection to unnecessary killing of animals.

this was the first of this style of tie I've purchased or worn for that matter. It is super simple, yet gives a real unique look and bit of class to a simple vest & shirt! Used one of the wife's big stone earrings and it looked incredible.

The tie is nicely designed and looks great. My only complaint is that the neck band was more suited to a really wide neck. After adjusting the band to my size, the buckle went all the way around to the front, where it was clearly visible.

Few times do I find that the actual product is close to the picture. This time was better than I expected and very solid quality. Pretty easy to adjust to the correct circumference. Given this site's variety of options, I know where to shop first when looking for costume ideas. Personal tip - when needing this tie to remain exactly in the same, correct spot on my collar through the evening, I used Fearless Delicate Fabric Tape which did the job perfectly well. Combined, my costume (mostly from Historical Emporium) help up in quality and use for a long party, and is ready for any future event.

I really like the look of this tie. Though I've not worn it out of the house yet, My wife finds it very attractive. I was pleasantly surprised when the "diamond" pin came with it, which sets it off well. For an "all black" ensemble, this is a very good part of the kit.

I bought this for Mark Twain Days. Lots of people dress in 1860 attire for the event. I look like I just arrived out west during the Comstock Era.
