I purchased this petticoat so that I wouldn't have to make myself one for an upcoming event. I was hopeful that it would fit. Sadly I am right at the end of the size chart this this was just a bit snug. That's ok, I was able to let my niece use it she is much smaller than I am and the extra fullness was good under her 1890s walking skirt. The fabric was lovely and soft. And shipping was super quick.

The slip is nicely made with a soft fabric that washed and dried nicely. I'm tall and it hits me at my ankles, which is fine.

This petticoat is so wonderful. I definitely recommend if you have any of the walking skirts. It is super soft and really feels great under the skirt.

I've always been very pleased with the quality and price of these petticoats. I am a costume designer, and the first set I bought years ago are still in terrific shape after repeated washing.

Uncertain of size to order, so I went with Large. Fit good..and with the adjustable draw string, it was secured and gave a nice fullness to the black walking skirt worn over the top. The ruffled hemline gave a very nice affect and petticoat added additional warmth this early, chilly Fall.

Initially, I ordered this in an XL for my 40" waist and I had to exchange it for a large. It is a nice weight of cotton. Not so light that I fear to wear and tear it, but not so heavy that the waist tie binds. Really simply perfect. I wore it around town this winter under another skirt (or three - I'm so not used to this thing called "winter"). The extra ruffled layer that goes from just under the knee to the ground really made a difference on the wind-up-the-skirt chill factor and yet, being cotton, was not uncomfortable when indoors where this marvel called "electric heat" was up and running. Also, it is a titch longer for a section at the rear of the skirt. For the first time in my life, I found a skirt wasn't shorter in back than in front when worn with my overly large keister (I could make Kim Kardashian jealous!). In fact, that extra 2" of length is just enough to make it hang level to the ground should you decide to wear it over a bustle. Liked it so much, I bought it in white, too. :)

This is a really useful skirt. It's light and full enough for an under-skirt. I've also "cheated" and worn it as an outer-skirt in hot weather/environments. If you put a belt over the waist you can't see the drawstring, and it passes nicely for a walking skirt. I'm very happy it's 100% cotton, so it's breathable in warm weather.

It arrived quickly and I was excited to try it on but it was much too big to work under any of my skirts. I did try to reduce the size by adjusting the hoops but I was unable to make them small enough. I returned it.

This skirt is perfect under my mid-1800s period costume. Not too big, but it keeps my skirt up.

I purchased a Victorian gown made of heavy cotton, and a petticoat wasn't cutting it. This bone hoop skirt holds the heavy weight out and gives much needed air flow! I like the adjustable waist, but I do pin it to make sure it doesn't let go at the string.

Underskirt seems well made works perfectly with the skirt my wife is wearing. Only "complaint" is the hoops are slightly egg shaped from being in shipping box but i'm sure they will fine after letting sit in their normal position.

My order came quickly and very pleased with the quality of material and structure of the hoop. Works well with my heavy Victorian skirt.

I really like this hoop skirt. It is nicely made and very comfortable. I wear a size 14 and got a large, but probably should have purchased a medium. However, it is easy to adjust the waist and I am going to keep it.

These are authentic, comfortable, and well made. The fabric is medium weight 100% cotton that feels a little thicker than the white ones. There is a drawstring at the waist (no elastic). There is no cinching at the legs. The bloomers stand up to the washing machine well, except the cotton lace curles a bit, but that steams out easily.

Viewers posted that the sizes ran small. I found the opposite. I ordered what I thought would fit and it is huge.

These work out perfect for under my dress. Fit great, very comfortable.

The quality of the fabric and the finish is of a high standard. I would however say, that the size does run large and would in the future order a size smaller to allow for this. There is a lot of fabric to fit into my riding split skirt.

I purchased this nightgown as a gift for my wife, and she's absolutely thrilled. Nothing like cotton "nostalgia" to make you feel like you're wrapped in quality and authenticity. The staff at Historical Emporium was very friendly and very helpful, as well.

I ordered this in natural. The fabric is a good quality and it's well made. I did make some additional darts in the back to make it fit closer to the body around the waist.

I ordered the camisoles in Natural and Black. They were too big. My fault. I decided I really didn't want them and sent them back.

Fit well and helped me not get sunburned. Elastic at the end was a bit tight. There was a lot of room in the waist, I could tighten it all the way there was just a lot of drawstring adjusting.

Not bulky and lightweight enough to be cool in summer months. Will know more after a season.

Usable item under other clothing. Wrinkle easily and thin. But drawstring really helps get a good fit. Worked fine under my outfit.

I purchased these to wear as lightweight pants in the 100°+ southern Idaho and Texas summers. They're exactly what I wanted, no complaints! They fit right in with my small collection of actual antique corset covers. As the description mentions they are a bit sheer, but I just wear nude undies with them and all is good.

The bloomers are a bit larger than expected. I probably could have gone with 1 size smaller but they are extremely comfortable. I love the attention to details with the lace drawstring around the ankle.

These fit the bill, although I'd rather have them longer as I am tall. But they will work for my purpose.
