I am a petite and the length hits just below ankle with 1 1/2 -2 inch heels. The embroidery on the black is really pretty. The quality of the material is much nicer than you would expect at this price.

This is a wonderful skirt -- the color is just as shown in the photo (a rich deep garnet), the material is light and flowy, and the cut is flattering for a variety of body types. It is "classic" enough to be included in a vintage-type outfit, but also contemporary enough to be worn in everyday situations. I love it!

This skirt was purchased as a Christmas gift for a friend. She absolutely loved it -- tried it on as soon as she opened it and did not take it off for the rest of the evening! She and her family (as well as I) were very impressed with the quality and beauty of the skirt.

First off all, this skirt was beautiful! I loved it. Unfortunately, I couldn't wear it. It only comes in one size, and while it technically fit me--insofar as I could get it on my body--it was not attractive at all. I am on the large size, and the skirt fit very tightly over my caboose' and did not, in fact swirl and just plain looked bad. This really needs to come in a bigger size, with more fabric, for the plus size among us. I gave it to my daughter, who is much smaller than I, and it looks lovely on her. I hope to see it offered in a larger size some day so I can buy one for myself.

I was disappointed. The item was priced too high considering it was foriegn made. Won't do that again.

The fabric of the skirt really is lovely. The length was perfect, the only down side is the very strong elastic at the waist, will take some stretching to loosen it up.

It's beautiful and of great quality. Love the material. I'm looking forward to wearing it. I found it true to size but very long, I'm 5'3" , I have to wear it high up on my ribs and it still goes way past my feet. 4" heels or higher will need to be worn. I found it to hug my curves which is something I was hoping for. The lace detail on the back is gorgeous.

The skirts fits snug and very appealing. Have not had a chance to wear but when the full outfit it put together I think it will suit my taste

I purchased this skirt to wear to a Victorian-themed wedding, and I couldn't be happier with it. The fabric is of great quality, with a nice weight to it, and given the cut, the skirt still offers a surprising amount of mobility. The lacing is more for show than function, but I appreciate the ease of the zipper. To top it off, it looks absolutely ravishing!

Love this skirt. I bought it to wear to a masquerade ball paired with a corset top. It looks fantastic. It does run a bit long, but that was easily solved by hemming the bottom. It hugs my curves, but I can still move well in it. The fit was very true to the sizing chart.

Although I love the quality and look of this skirt, it wiil have to be altered due to the long length. It is easily 6 inches longer than stated length.

I am 5'3" and even in 2" heels the skirt comes up to my breasts. About 4 inches above my natural waist. Will need to have it altered quite a bit to fit my very curvy, petite frame. But i pulled it up and used it under my corset and disguised it temporarily.

I was a little apprehensive about ordering something like this online but man am I glad I did. Everything was very neat when I received the package and when I tried it on this thing fit me like a glove. It is VERY true to size, if you are an inch or two bigger than one of the sizes and you are thinking "Eh, I bet I can squeeze in there" um you can try but I wouldn't count on being able to do it. It also does not really stretch so don't count on that either and it has a lovely high waist that fit very well under my corset and blouse that I wore with it. I got a lot of compliments and it I must say... I felt like my butt looked great in this. It's simple, made of a nice material, with a very neat zipper closure. I look forward to getting a chance to wear this again.

I am tall, wear a size 4 jean, size 6 dress and this fit perfectly. It is fully lined and the quality of the materials and sewing are very good. Oh my! What a skirt. Arrived very neatly packaged. This skirt is well made and fully lined. The fishtail is beautiful and adds class to the skirt. Its just a gorgeous sexy skirt. I am 5.4 and its long, so this skirt needs some heels. I am planning on styling it with a white ruffled shirt, waist cincher and the Calista coat (when its back in stock!), with a pair of high heeled boots, Im gonna rock this skirt, cant wait.

A really cool skirt that unfortunately isn't made for my body. I am slim with slim hips, and this skirt was way too big in the waist while fitting very snugly over my hips. It was also too long for me to wear, even with heels. I am 5"6".

I love the skirt! It does run long though - I am 5'3" and even with heals it is a couple inches too long - I hiked it up and folded the waistband over .

The picture of the skirt I bought (it was part of an ensemble steampunk piece) had a striped pattern, which was exactly what I was looking for. The actual skirt is monochrome grey, so I returned it. I have this same skirt in black, and it is a great quality item (does run on the small side and doesn't have a lot of room to wiggle so I ended up going a size up) Not sure why they show an item for purchase that they don't sell. ----- [The Vivien skirt is as shown, solid gray with a slight heathering. -HE]

I was looking for a formal outfit for an awards show, which was out of the ordinary, and these 3 items were perfect! When I dress formally, I lean towards metro-sexual, so this long skirt with this shirt and velvet jacket was both sexy and metro. I received many "amazing" "fabulous" "gorgeous" compliments from others at the show. I ordered all 3 on a two-day shipping, and in fact received my items two days after I ordered online, which is the first time I have ever received items within 2 days. Sizing was correct to the size chart.

I purchased this skirt as the first piece to build upon for a steampunk look! This skirt is beautiful. Needs a little hem but otherwise fits beautifully. Rides high on natural waist which makes it perfect for Wearing with a crop or long jacket! The grey is actually the perfect neutral to build on. Very figure flattering! Makes a tail where there isn't one if you get the picture..very feminine. Get it! You won't regret it. I will be wearing this for a special occasion, not just costume.

The skirt fit perfect everyone loved it and wanted to know where I got it. The lady that helped me was very helpful because I was not sure about the size, she assured me that the skirt ran a little small so I got the larger size and I am glad I did. I also received it in plenty of time for my event.

I love the fishtail skirt! It's perfect for winter weather, with its heavy material and lining. With all its frills and laces, it's extremely comfortable and fits like a glove. It looks fitting and flattering, but doesn't feel constrictive. My only surprise when I pulled it out of the package was its length. I measured at a Medium, but it goes all the way up past my ribs and still has to be folded over so I don't step on it. I am 5'4". Even with the folding over, though, I wore this skirt all night and even danced, and it felt comfortable the entire time. It's versatile enough to wear to work with a "regular" top and boots. It's very fun and pretty, with surprisingly high quality material.

This is the only Steampunk skirt you need! Don't let the prim and proper ladies have all the fun! I chose to size up 1 size because the skirt is so form-fitting.

The skirt is as described and accurately represented in the photos. The sizing chart seems accurate as well. This is important to me because I run between sizes (it's gonna be a small or a medium). Well made. Haven't worn it yet but it is the exact look I was searching for.

This skirt (And company) is AMAZING... I ordered it for NYE to go with a stunning corset I had just won in a contest, & the shipping was SO FAST that I got it in PLENTY of time. I'm pretty short (5'3"), and the chiffon "train" in the back still came to about what you see in the pic; But I definitely couldn't have worn flats with it. LOL I was at a venue with 4,000+ people, & was probably the oldest woman in the room (I'm 54), & I was voted the "Sexiest-Dressed-Woman" of the night... :-)

Although this was a special order item, it arrived much faster than anticipated in the same package with the rest of the items that I ordered. The dress itself has multiple strings inside the skirt to bunch the skirt into a proper bustle style. Sizing was as expected after I measured myself. Very beautiful and can't wait to wear it for other outfits too!
