So I'm in a western show! Lots of fight scenes horseback riding etc. I only did the belt hold up two guns it barely shifted and stayed in place very comfortable although thick. But works great Love the smell of leather it comes with.

The crossdraw holster fits my Cimmarron Pistolero perfectly. There are many options on where it can sit; from my left hip (I'm right-handed) all the way across my front to sit on my strong hand side as a traditional holster. The leather is nice, and with a little water and stretching the hammer strap is easily moved with the flick of my thumb.

Overall, this is a great holster and reflects the influence of the old time West. My only surprise was that it didn't cover the trigger better. My second surprise was that the leather "strings" weren't lower, to tie around one's leg. These are not really complaints, simply observations that seemed unchacteristic of a western holster.

I bought this holster for my Uberti 1873 Cattleman .357 revolver. It's made from quality heavy leather and the craftsmanship is very nice.
The holster fits my belt perfectly, and it fits my revolver perfectly. The only issue I have is that the hammer loop does not reach my revolvers hammer. I'll have to do a little bit of modification before Spring comes.

Despite what the forum answers indicate, this holster is too big for a Single Six .22 cal wheel gun. However, it is nicely made and well tooled. It is well suited for larger caluburs/frames.

Order came sooner than I figured . Very easy to form to the 45 and my 51/2" Cattleman clears it very fast and smooth. Takes awhile to calm down the smell but is well worth the wait. The leather is worked well and is better than

From the moment I pulled this out of the packaging I knew it was of a certain quality.
It is a sturdy and appealing holster. Well made for the most part and looks like it will stand up to the rigors of use.
I have only one complaint that reduces this product to 4 stars. The hammer loop appears to be glued in place and cannot be adjusted. This wouldn't necessarily be an issue except that adequate length wasn't allowed before the gluing so the hammer loop does not hook over the hammer of my revolver. I am loathe to make the modification myself but I see no other option.
I am delighted with every other aspect of the product.

I have a 1851 Navy colt "Yank" .44 cal. 7.5" barrel and it fits well. Because of the newness of the leather, it has taken some time to mold the leather to the feature of the weapon. Once complete I plan on treating the interior of the holster with leather dressing for a smoother draw. Tie-down is stiff but will soften with dressing.

I have several rigs, belts, holsters and this item was less than I expected from Historical Emporium. While some might say, "You get what you pay for", I got a sloppy fit and a stiff cardboard like holster, even though I specified the gun I was buying for. I will make due since it is not worth the trouble to ship back. I will not use in any open/public environment. The belt I ordered is covered under separate review and will end up costing more than I paid for better products in the past.

The quality and workmanship were commensurate with the price, which is to say that I was satisfied with the purchase. Higher quality and workmanship can be found, but at a much higher price. I did have a small modification made at a local boot shop which involved having the back piece stitched to the holster on either side of the gun opening to keep it from flopping around. Otherwise, I was happy with the product and especially the service.

Yes, this is a 5 star review plain and simple. Not only did this holster fit my 1858 Remington, but also fit my S&W model 29 both with 8" barrel lengths. Shipment arrived a day early. Holster fits my 1873 cavalry model perfectly. Stitching is solid, holster is as well. Leather appears to be of high quality and the black stain is great. Only reason for 4 stars is that the leather was a bit dried out when it arrived. Quick application of a leather conditioner and everything is good to go. This holster should last me a lifetime out in the woods with proper care.

I have one I bought recently and I like it.
I have a Rough Rider 22 Long Rifle Revolver and I ordered one of your Western Holsters for it, and it is a match. The Holster is as tough as the gun is. I had a 2 inch brown leather belt which worked perfect. The Revolver now lives in the Holster and goes to the firing range with me. As you know the Holster can be put on either side (Hip) and that depends on which direction you want your Butt of the Revolver going. I ordered online, and the Holster arrived at a normal time. No long wait. There is not going to be an issue with the Holster because it is made of tough leather. It can also be adjusted to fit your Revolver by pressing on the holster.

Easily done and only takes a minute to do. Unlike most holsters that fit a wide variety of guns, this one doesn't swallow up the gun if it's not a really large frame revolver. What I also like is it works great as a cross draw or conventional.

I really like this holster.
This holster is a perfect fit for my Pietta Army pistols. Better Then Expected
Except for maybe the 2 rivets, very period correct, stitched very well but lines not perfect and that makes it better, more realistic..
