I ordered this along with a black puff tie, not aware the tie would come with one of it's own. I was surprised to see it came so well presented in its box. I have yet to wear this extraordinarily beautiful piece. All Civil War reenactments have been cancelled for the last year and a half due to the Wuhan Flu Pandelierium; so, my portrayal of a certain historical character of that time is on hold - probably for another three and a half years.

The second appearance of Sherlock Holmes was in a slim volume entitled "The Sign of Four". This adventure began with a pretty, blonde governess receiving a pearl from the the Agra treasure. In the end, Scotland Yard gets credit for solving the casse and Watson wins the hand of the fair maid. I would like to think she would present Watson and Holmes with pearl stick pins like the above item to mark her wedding day.
