I've had this vest for a month and I'm very satisfied. High quality construction in tough, heavy canvas. A word about size. I had to send back my first vest because it was too big. I ordered the size that corresponded to a 50, the size I get for suits or sports coats. What I forgot is that's the size that fits at the shoulders then they take it in from there. A vest doesn't have shoulders. When I re-ordered, I went to Wal-mart, bought a tape for $2, measured like they said to in the instructions and ordered that size. It fit perfectly. So my advice? Don't guess. Get a tape. Measure with the tape. Believe the tape. Order what the tape says. A word about pockets. I wear this almost daily as a real work vest and, like others here, I wish it had inside pockets for a phone and/or wallet. It doesn't, so we'll deal with it. I ordered pants to go with the vest and when I took them to be hemmed, I asked the seamstress if she could make inside pockets for me. She was happy to, and since the vest is fully lined, she was able to easily do so with nothing showing from the outside. Looks great. She charged me $20 for the pockets, which I don't if that seems a good deal to you but was worth every penny for me. Buy with confidence.

I'm sure others have different reasons for buying these trousers, but I bought them to work in. Let's get this straight: these pants are not costume wear. They are tough, heavy canvas with high quality construction. They are comfortable to wear when I get in and of a truck all day. Face it fellas, I'm not the only one out there whose belly is bigger than his behind. Regular jeans sag, and belting them so tight they don't sag means they're uncomfortable after a while. These are made for suspenders and they ride up by your belly button, which is comfortable but not the current fashion so I bought a matching work vest and nobody really sees the suspenders or the high waist. The day I didn't wear the vest, I had three guys - regular middle-aged working stiffs, Carhartt-type fellas - ask me where they could get pants like that. I've been wearing them for a month and will be buying more. Two final things. I didn't like the little "Frontier Classics" tag so I used a needle and a pocketknife to remove it. It took 5 minutes and didn't harm the fabric at all. And I got walnut because it's the color of dirt, but Ill probably get a lighter color next time. The actual dirt blends right in but they show lint and dog hair real easy. If I'd have been smarter I'd have thought of that, but anyway... Buy with confidence

The holster is a tremendous deal considering the cheap cost. It is a great product and fits my Vaquero .45 Colt very well.

I wear this on the right for a butt-forward draw and in works equally well with my replica Remington 1858 New Army and replica Colt 1873 SAA. Well made and the quality of the leather is top notch. Very happy I got it.

This is a wonderful item, very high quality. Looks great. I am normally a medium, but I opted for the small and it was a good choice. A generous cut and will fit well over suits, evening wear, heavy sweaters....perfect for a stroll across the Moors! Historical Emporium is a class act!
