I have all of the work vests in each color except the leprechaun green. They hold up to daily wear and not only provide core warmth but also significant lumbar support. I sit a horse in the summer, sometimes 12-14 hours a day, and from Sept to June am either standing, sitting in a child's school chair, or kneeling all day. I couldn't do so without these waistcoats, they really do serve a purpose. It would be lovely if the lapels were actually stitched to a collar - which also serves a purpose: Keeping wind, dust/dirt, and manure out in a stiff breeze.

I wore this to a cocktail dress Christmas Party because I had just had shoulder surgery and couldn't wear a jacket. It was perfectly serviceable, and got a lot of compliments, but I would have liked a heavier weight of cloth.
