CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

A gunfighter would sooner go into the street without his trousers than without his six-gun. Make sure your wardrobe is complete with this heavy-duty "Buscadero" style gun belt.

Our premium quality leather western drop loop style gun belt includes a matching holster. The holster is for a standard frame single action revolvers revolver, and fits barrel lengths 4 to 6 inches. The holster will also accommodate Smith & Wesson double action revolvers that have a frame size of K though N. Double action revolvers from other manufacturers that have a frame that is equivalent to the Smith & Wesson revolvers will also fit in the holster. If you have questions regarding your revolver, please contact us. In addition, the gun belt is stitched from two 1/8 inch thick leather sections, forming a full ¼ inch finished belt that will stand up to the rigors of daily use. The belt is simple and unadorned, with silver hardware and ammo loops across the back. Buckle and ammo loops may vary slightly from image.

Produced in Mexico by skilled craftsmen, this south-of-the-border original was ubiquitous in the 1800's Southwest.

Pictured here with our Nickel Plated Colt "Peacemaker" replica, sold separately.

Sizing note: Our gun belts are sized by hip size, not waist size. Refer to our sizing guide to select your size.

This holster is right-hand draw, and sized for standard frame revolver up to a 6 inches barrel.

Number of ammo loops may vary.

Features a leather leg tie strap, and also an adjustable leather hammer loop to secure your revolver. The holster is adjustable for a good fit on your revolver. Click here for instructions on how to adjust the holster.

Holster/Gunbelt Rig Sizing

Our gun belts are sized by hip size, not waist size.

The size gun belt you need will be LARGER than your waist size, as shown. DO NOT just select your jeans size, or you will very likely end up with a belt that is too small.

To select a gunbelt size:

1. Measure your waist, with a cloth tape measure.

2. Using the following chart, add to your waist size to find your holster size. Round up to the nearest even number.

Waist Size Gun Belt Size
Under 34" Waist Size + 2 inches
34" - 48" Waist Size + 4 inches
Over 48" Waist Size + 6 inches
sizing

Our gun belts are sized in inches, and each belt has a range of +/- two inches from the labeled size. It is VERY important that you measure yourself for a good fit.

If you have ANY questions about measuring for a gun belt, please contact us.

Western Gun Belt and Holster
the quality is spot on, just what I was looking for to start in cowboy action shooting. I have it hanging in a closed room, when I walk in I get hit by the strong smell of leather, a good thing

Way Out West
The 1800's, way out west - a simpler time. The cattle graze, the crops grow, the seasons change. It's truly a simpler time still in the west in the early part of the 1800's. Yes, it is simpler in many ways, however, in the late 1840's the rapidity with which the east is growing has come to the west. Gold was found on the South Fork of the American River at Sutter's Mill in 1848. The rush west begins in earnest. Towns grow from hundreds to thousands of citizens almost overnight. In the late 1850's a second wave of citizens head west following another find, although it's not all about gold this time. A rich vein of silver has also been discovered, the largest find to date - the Comstock Lode. By the early to mid late 1870's, things have slowed considerably. The landscape has changed forever, the western states are now highly populated by those who have followed the dreams of riches or have found themselves displaced by the war of 1861-1865. Many will settle down as law abiding citizens, some will become outlaws, others lawmen, but all will carry a gun. Have you got your gun belt and holster cowboy? This is a great gun belt and holster. Quality material and rugged build.

Nice modest belt and holster
I am in love with the quality of my belt and holster. It doesnt try to be too flashy and is just over all appealing on the eye, while also being sturdy and reliable. Gonna buy a Cross draw holster to go with it once I get another revolver.

Better than I thought
Better than I thought, right size, holds my SAA securely. Looks great and well worth the price. Most like this sold elsewhere run three times as much and don't seem to offer any greater value.

In that there are no "brick and mortar" outlets in my rural area that allowed me to "touch and feel" the gun belt and holster I needed for my Ruger Vaquero 38/357 revolver (Bisley grip), I did an extensive web search. Prices varied from about $70 to over $300, but only Historic Emporium offered the variety of products and obvious commitment to the entire culture of our American Western history. Customer comments were detailed and very helpful, along with specific recommendations by Historic Emporium Customer Service. The quality of my belt and holster is superb, and size recommendation from Customer service smack on. The steel casing sandwiched between the double layer holster saddle allowed me to hand form the holster to a perfect fit for my Bisley Vaquero (5.5" barrel) in only minutes, with no water soaking needed. The ammo loops are perfectly sized, firmly gripping the 38/357 rounds. The hammer loop was a bit short for the Bisley hammer format, but easily adjustable. The stainless steel revolver with ivory grips presents a stunning and authoritative appearance in this high quality, plain black leather.
