This vest is of Excellent quality and runs true to size. It is much heavier and actually better quality then I had expected, and because of that I would say that this vest probably would be best enjoyed if it were worn during the winter months. But it should last for many years.

The green Fontaine vest is superb! I perform magic and am very busy with St. Patrick's Day events. So far, at every event I've performed at I have received many, many compliments on my vest. The vest fits well, is very comfortable to perform in, and makes me stand out in a crowd, which is necessary when performing at events where I need to mingle with the crowd to perform. The price is a bargain!

I am very happy with the dress I got from the Historical Emporium. I looked at this dress several times online before I bought it and I was not disappointed.

These pants are made for comfort. The fabric is extremely soft, though sturdy. They are "high wasted", though all that means is that they come up to your actual waist. As one of my co-workers put it, "It's like a hug all day". They don't restrict movement so if you're looking to buy for LARPs you can't ask for much more. I've bought them originally for a LARP event but now wear them for work and will be using them for a wedding as well. Top quality product, and amazing customer service! For size fallow the suggested messurments, they are pretty spot on. I'm only going to have to get them hemmed about half an inch. I also bought the "Livingston Black Brushed Cotton Trousers" and "Classic Canvas Trousers - Brown" same experiance on all of them.

This vest truly has a unique style, with offset lapels one of which has a hidden button closure. And speaking of buttons, a double breasted presentation with 10 cloth-covered buttons make for a time to linger long on fastening this fine waistcoat and enjoy its luxurious and dashing feel. I have to admit that I deliberately purchased the wrong size. Mediums were sold out. And I have seen other fine vests disappear from the Emporium, so I wasn't certain it would be restocked and purchased a Large. I had it tailored and it fits me like...well... like a fine-tailored waistcoat. A great vest if you can get your size.

I like this particular style of frock coat because of the fit, the fabric (wool blend) and the overall quality. I bought the same style previously in black and like it very much, the Heather Grey version gives me another choice in my wardrobe and I knew I would like the stylish fit. A very handsome coat and you will get a lot of compliments on your choice. It can be casual or more dressed up, or go Steampunk or Boho Chic with the rest of your look. An investment garment for your wardrobe that you will get a lot of pleasure from.

This blouse is lovely. The quality of the fabric and workmanship is great. I would not hesitate to order again.

Very nice, was worried about belt from other reviews but buckle is metal now. fabric is light enough to wear inside but tough enough for the bush. looking forward to wearing at Steampunk Convention and around town this spring/ fall too. Highly recommend this jacket.

I really liked this skirt from the moment it arrived. It is well made, and the fabric quality is excellent. The buttons on the back allow for adjustment in the waist. If I could suggest an improvement, it would be to make these in a petite length. At 5 feet and no inches tall, it was of course, too long. However, I am used to this, and it did not take long to re-hem it to an appropriate length. I highly recommend this skirt.

This is really nice looking and makes me very excited for summer, when I can try it out. Size-wise it seems just a bit big but I was desperate to get one before they sold out so I grabbed it before they were gone. For a reference if they come back in stock for anyone else; I am 5'10" tall and about 180lbs. I have wide shoulders and about B/C cup breasts. I got the XL tunic but it was a bit big. The waist part wasn't bad, the breathing room seemed nice since it isn't "technically" clothes but the chest area was quite large. I tried it on while wearing a padded bra and it was still slightly big. Oh well, it is more-or-less an vintage version of a coverup after all. That low cut, I'll be wearing a bathing suit beneath it anyway, now perhaps I'll have to try to find a padded one so that the V-cut into the tunic is all in the right place.

This is a wonderfully made coat and I am so thrilled that I got it. Like the other reviewers have said, it is small, make sure to go up in size. I am 5'10" and about 180 lbs and have wide shoulders and long arms. I got the size 20 and it was just perfect. It's a little big in the waist but that's fine. I'll cinch what I can with the semi-decorative ties in the back and call it good. The shoulders were just right and the sleeves came down and ended at my finger tips which is a near impossibility for me to find. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I do have to say though, that a few friends have told me that I look like the love child of Severus Snape and Beletrix Lestrange when I'm just wearing it as a coat and not with other period pieces...technically this coat could be used for Death Eater Cosplay as well, the sleeves would be perfect for concealing a wand.

If you are considering these gloves, you may be wondering, "Are they worth the price?" Yes they truly are. Soft, well stitched, accurately sized and stylish beyond compare, these gloves are now a centerpiece in my attire, not cheap costume pieces. I'll probably get another pair in another color.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband, knowing how disappointed he'd been with the cravat-style "ascots" other companies sold. He was thrilled. It has a lovely, thick and silky hand with abundant width for really beautiful folds. The color is exquisite, more a turquoise and dark green, as I see it. And the sales price made it possible for me to purchase two, of different colors, which was double the pleasure! A definite must-have for any gentleman's wardrobe.

I bought this for a steampunk costume for my child. It's so cute and well made. It clips on easily and looks exactly like the picture.

Price too high. I needed a scarf slide and another scarf for formal ware, but could not find the scarf from your company. I did about a week later and was able to order a royal blue scarf and two slides, One of the slides was the very same one as I received from your company and it was only 60% of the cost (regular price, not on sale.) because of this and the poor quality of the last walking cane I ordered from you and also the higher cost of the cane, I will not order anything else from your company.

They're pretty diddly-dang coolio. I'm a little fat to fit into them at he moment but that'll change soon I think. I plan on wearing them at gigs and shows.

If your reading this then you should get one. You will not be disappointed! As I said before, I wear 46L in suits and I purchased a 46L topcoat in black and it fit perfectly over my suit. Not to tight and not to loose. It was perfect. The customer care rep helped me all the way through. Much appreciated, because other people (1 company in particular) told me to buy my coat 1 size bigger. No, no, no...wasn't necessary with these guys. Moving on, I was concerned about shipping as I wanted to have my coat delivered to the hotel I was going to stay at. And to my surprise the coat arrived at the hotel 1 day ahead of schedule. When I got there I quickly checked into my room and tried it on. Perfect fit. Oh, did I mention that this east coast trip involved low 50 to 30 degree weather? The coat held up with no problem at all. I was most impressed with the style. Love the collar on the coat and it's sturdiness. Fellas, I'm not lying here, I don't work for the company. But since I'm picky about quality clothing, from under-wear to over-wear, inner-wear to outter-wear, I have to keep it real. Although I love the riding pant's, I had to have them nearly remade to fit me. I am only 5' 1" tall and these pants are made for very tall people. It was worth it to get them fitted. Everyone loved my outfit and could not believe I found this out fit. So your name was told to many people. I will surly shop with ya'll again. The quality of the material was great and very well made. I was the best dressed person there. Just keep in mind there are a lot of short people and see if you could make cloths for shorter people. I know I would be very happy and I am sure others will be too.

Beautiful puts a lot of stress on her clothing and so far this one has held up and the washings have not dulled the color. Plus, it still feels nice to the touch.
