This is better than I had expected. I normally wear a size 46 to a size 50 and while a bit snug it fits fine. If I had to guess I would say it's a size 48. I prefer my coat sleeves long with cuffs and these are somewhat short but not so much so that it would be a problem. I will be adding cuffs since that is something I can do myself. I plan to replace the buttons with some polished metal ones but the plastic bottons that it came with it are sewn on nicely, no problems there. Shipping was fast and hassle free. One thing I feel needs mentioning is that this is a "spot clean only" coat no dry cleaning or machine washing. Still it's a head turning coat with great style at a good price.

Much better looking and more to the period for our daughters wedding. We originally was just looking at a generic tux shirt, but this one is the way to go especially when you add the suspenders...husband looks...Hubba Hubba!

I wasn't expecting these to be as well made and heavy as they are. They are perfect and with the white victorian dress shirt, will hate to add the vest.

We purchased this coat for our daughter's western themed wedding. The coat is a little heavier than we anticipated but we will be able to use it during the mild winter for an overcoat for special occasions. We were very happy to have the coat in actual jacket sizes because it fit much better than the "L" that we tried on at a local shop. This one fit my husband in the shoulder much better.

One size fits all can be a little scary, but it fit really nice. And I am short and was afraid it would drag to the ground. But it is a nice length. And you can't see the beautiful detail work on the website, but you will not be disappointed.

Pretty Victorian-styled bonnet that can be worn to all kind of functions (period dress-up, Halloween parties, etc.). A rather large hat, not a tiny bonnet.

A beautiful garment made of a divine and heavy fabric, one that I recommend to any man. It sits well, the colour is subdued but appealing. I wouldn't wear it if I were living in the tropics, but it handsomely suits where I do live. Beautifully cut, it fits perfectly although I did have to get a centimetre trimmed from both sides and the adjuster at the rear drastically shortened. I felt great in wearing it, and its charcoal grey variation. I heartily recommend both, for colour and fit, and the company for offering such a quality garment at a reasonable price. Five stars.

This vest is the apex of showing off, of being loud and proud, glamglorious, a flash of exuberant colour for men who don't care what their children think of their fashion sense. Chinese people kept staring in admiration at me and it's not because I'm much taller than they are. This garment is definitely not tacky, quite the contrary, but is rather loud and possibly not to everyone's taste, however, if you can't stand that, you shouldn't be looking on this website. I had to buy a pure silk tie of an almost identical colour as the dragons, but happily recommend the garment, one that a man wears when he knows that he's in charge of his own life. Best worn with a black jacket.

I bought this vest on a whim, it happily being as much as what I'd expected although I did have to get it trimmed by a seamstress. It's great, the paisley pattern and colours are bewitching for which it gets many admiring smiles from strangers and approving comments from those who know me. It's not a garment that would suit a man of small stature, let alone one who's fat, but if you're tall and reasonably slim as I am, on wearing this vest, you become taller than the Statue of Liberty, you make the blitz. Indian people seem to notice it notice it more because of the paisley pattern, one that originated from their culture. I fulsomely recommend this garment, it being perfectly presented by the business that sells it.

I realy love this Coat, I've been hanging out to get one for such a long time, it's made exceptionally well, everything I hoped for.

the coat needs to allow more arm movement. If I raise my arms, jacket is too tight.

I was very excited when I got my Skirt, it was everything I was hoping for. It was a little too long for me even with heals, but an alteration will fix that, love the style and it was made very well.

I ordered this one after I received the Ovals in Red by Historical Emporium and was very impressed with it's quality and authenticity. Both are Fantastic! Some details that will help you fall in love with this super dapper accessory: 1.) Made of Woven Silk fabric, Not printed. That translates to texture and depth that no print can match. This is the Real Deal. 2.) The Color - not easy to see how glorious and rich the color is on a computer screen - but you will be pleased. 3.) Goes so well with so many colors - cream, white, brown, jewel tones like emerald green an sapphire blue. 4.) Generous length - 55" whereas the Red silk Ascot with Ovals is 48" (but fit well too) 5.) This has a pattern that is reminiscent of the beautiful wallpapers designed by William Morris in the late 1890's. Not Feminine, but very sophisticated. This Ascot says: "Will you join me for a Scotch on the deck of my Dirigible?" Not, "Aren't my Yachts fab?" 6.) Comes with a 9" square pocket hanky (the Red Ovals is a 10" square one). 7.) A Generous cut - the other ones out there may not be cut like this - look closely! This is traditional and will not provoke suspicion if you take a jaunt in your time machine to smoke a pipe with you Great Grandfather when he was a young entrepreneur. This is so worth the investment. A side note: I know this may be distasteful, but I did spray it with a waterproofing spray to protect this sizeable investment. I had a can of Camp Dry but Scotch Guard will work too - I think these are both rather unhealthy substances so I hung the ascot from the clothesline to spray them lightly and let them both hang in the shade for a day to air dry. Lots of you tube videos on different ways to tie a day cravat or ascot - easy and, my Husband reports, very breathable and comfortable for all day wear.

I bought this for my hubby to wear for a historical dance evening. He liked it and it fit well (he's a big guy). It's well made.

I was very pleased with the shirt as a whole but the big draw back was the neck was not big enough. On an XL or 2 XLR shirt the neck size should be bigger. I'm going to have to take it to be adjusted by a tailor.

Delivered 7 days ahead of the deadline. The spats themselves are of amazing quality and seem more than durable enough for long-term wear.

I have had the watch for only 2 weeks but it has been amazing nonetheless. It keeps time well, looks exquisite, and I have had nothing but compliments from my friends since I've received it. However, (and this is the one thing that bothered me once I noticed it) you the buyer should notice that the four on the face of the watch isn't the proper Roman numeral four (IIII instead of IV). It may be that I am no professional when it comes to older timepieces, it is just something that seems odd. Don't let this detour you as I am happy with it, merely keep this in mind.
