I absolutely LOVE this shirtwaist. I am tall and it fits like a dream. The quality of the cotton was much, much better than I expected. I like to make my own costumes but now I think that sometimes I will most certainly order from this company, instead. So pleased! A little suggestion? Can you offer more prints in a style like this? Small flowers or perhaps stripes for Gibson Girl costumes?

I bought the derby for my son's first solo dance routine. He's 10, the medium fit perfectly. He's doing well, High Gold in his Charlie Chaplin inspired solo dance routine. Alas, life is more than Steampunk conventions, so I am trying to purchase shirts that can work in real life as well as at the con. I chose the khaki Bella Blouse, which turned out to be in a thick, glossy cotton fabric. I ordered large to try to avoid the tight bust problem, but it is still tight at the bust. Aside from that, the bodice fit very well. It does a particularly nice job going over my (large) hips, even though I have a short torso. The sleeves are a bit long, but still manageable. It performed respectably in the all important laundry test - it only shrank a small bit, and it came out relatively wrinkle-free (better than some conventional shirts sold as wash and wear). Unfortunately, the slight shrinkage accentuated the tight in the bust problem. However, the cute little tabs on the collar are actually sewn in, so they came out looking great. So all in all, a very good looking shirt which can go out to dinner or off to the con in style - I gave it a 1 point deduction for the bust problem and the shrinkage.

After I read the other reviews, I ordered this a bit large. It fit nicely, with the only problem being that it was a bit long in the waist for me (I'm 5' 3" so this is a common problem for me). The thin fabric is actually an advantage in black - there is no show through and it makes a great layering piece. But the real charm of this shirt is how well it goes through the washer and dryer - no shrinkage and it comes out as if it just had a date with the iron.

What a nice vest! I actually decided to purchase this vest for work. I work at the Post Office and this vest in navy works perfectly. I definitely will be picking up some other items in the future! Thanks for a great product!!

Good value. Very nice cut and style. Fit me very well with size S. I prefer it shorter so I had it shorten around 2 1/2 inches.

I bought this for a present for my daughter. I was impressed with the quality. I loved the fact I had so many choices for her. Steampunk clothing is almost impossible to find where we live. I will definitely shop this website again and again.

A perfect top to wear with a black skirt and red boots for a theater production where I play the saloon singing girlfriend of the nefarious banker. It will also be cute with black leggings when I participate with my ukulele group. AND - it didn't break the bank!

Vest is awesome, heavy canvass, nice look. Love it. I went DOWN a size (after I return the first order of medium), unlike everyone else I read who seemed to all go up a size. I wanted a tight fit (with a thin slim fit dress shirt underneath and thought I'd get that with my first try but the sizing chart seemed a bit off if you want it more form fitting. I am also a very lean, small person. I measured my chest at ~39 inches and find the small fit great on a 5'7", 145lb guy.

Exactly what I was looking for. I put a scoring blade in my utility knife and lightly cross-hatched the sole to provide just a little more traction. They are great in the garden as the smooth sole does not cake up with loam and they polish up good enough to wear with my tuxedo on formal occasions. The pair weigh less than one of my former work boots.

The skirt is beautiful! Exactly as it appears in the pictures, but perhaps even prettier in person. The quality of the fabric and stitching are very good, and thanks to the very accurate sizing chart, it fits perfectly! (I am usually reluctant to purchase clothes online, because I am hard to fit.)

My husband has always worn Y-back braces. He has not had ones made out of canvas and he loves them. Historical Emporium has a nice selection of suspenders. We received them fairly fast, too.

I purchased this skirt to wear to a Victorian-themed wedding, and I couldn't be happier with it. The fabric is of great quality, with a nice weight to it, and given the cut, the skirt still offers a surprising amount of mobility. The lacing is more for show than function, but I appreciate the ease of the zipper. To top it off, it looks absolutely ravishing!

even though i measured my hat size correctly and have ordered a previous hat and it fit perfect, this one does not run true to its size. i was dissapointed that it was too large out of no fault of my own. the size that this hat states is not accurate and I'm stuck with a hat that does not fit due to the restrictions of the return policy. nice hat but the sizes are off. very dissapointing.

The badge is exactly as described, right down to the Mexican peso imprint on the reverse side. It was purchased as a birthday gift for my wife. She totally loves it.

This is a nice extremely light weight natural linen suit. It feels like it will be perfect for hot summer weather. The plastic buttons are kind of a bummer but they weren't a surprise!

Very nice vest for a late 1800's early 1900's look. The alternating stripes look very sophisticated and add interest to a suit. I always appreciate the pockets for the mandatory pocket watch.

I purchased this vest for day to day wear. I am extremely pleased. I placed my order hoping it would be a quality item. It exceeded my expectations. The cloth back of the vest is a sturdy wool blend much nicer than the typical satin.

The skirt is beautiful. I have ordered other skirts from this company and all have been great quality. The only thing is this skirt ran a little smaller the the others.
