I ordered a size too large and had to exchange the hat. To expedite shipping on the right size, I went ahead and reordered. The process was easy, my card credited back within hours of historical Emporium receiving return, the new shipment had already gone out and arrived earlier than expected. I am currently putting together a wardrobe for my eccentric friends wedding and have bought numerous articles of clothing from this website. Mostly I’ve been impressed of quality even if I’m put off a bit by the prices. However the vest seems …. Ummm.. cheap. I had bout a gold vest on Amazon complete with tie for under 30.00 with FREE shipping.It fitted fine but the buttons were poorly stitched to vest So I opted for one from historical emporium for 65.00 plus 15.00 for shipping. Quality wise it was no different than 29.00 one from Amazon ( though to be fair buttons were better attached. However I miss judged size. It didn’t fit.At that point I had to return it.at my cost for shipping. New one was sent but again with shipping charge ! Sooo long story short. I spent 65.00 for vest and 3x15.00 for back and forth shipping. (Really?!!) 65.00+45.00=110.00 for a single vest that I could have technically done without. With as much money as I’ve spent recently with them coat-157.00 Pants-60.00? Shirt- 50.00+ Spats & tie 50.00. Plus 3 separate shipping charges. Ps shirt is nice but paper thin and practically see through. This place definitely has some nice stuff and overall I’m happy with the outfit I’ve pieced together. My advice get your shirt and vests somewhere else.however ,if you don’t , at least order it all at one time and avoid the shipping charges .and, if you gotta send some back do it all at one time as well or you’ll pay for shipping again and again and again. Aaaaggghhh!

Light and comfortable
Received the coat and tried it on immediately and noticed how light it was, which was a very big plus for the temperatures that we find on the middle Gulf Coast of Texas. The sleeves were about 6 inches too long, but that was good since the wife can sew (I can too, but only when I have to) and she could fit it to my arm length. Very happy with the coat so far and see no issues at this time!

Exactly what I was looking for.
This vest is spot on. Had to workout an exchange because I needed a tall - MEASURE THE LENGTH! You'll save yourself the trouble. Once I got this vest though I was sold. The quality is great. Nice solid canvas with a beautiful texture. It's already starting to soften and bend more easily with some wear. The buttons and back strap are all super solid. It's just super well constructed, great fabric quality, excellent fit. I'll be back for more. This is exactly what I was looking for. Great quality at a great price. Thanks!!

The shirt seems authentic in all ways- very heavy fabric with excellent stitching detail. I was surprised at how large it is. I know the info stated it was cut full like the originals but I am an XL and have trouble getting XLs with adequate arm length. I ordered a 2XL just be be sure. It is big but better that than sleeves to my elbow. I think I would rather do a little tailoring than have it to small. The length is great also. All in all "excellent" but it was a bit pricey. I plan to wear it at the range when I shoot my Kentucky long rifle. Cheers REX
