It's well made, well sized, and so far has no issues with a weighty .357. I don't find my own rounds in the dirt and off my belt, that is to say the ammunition loops do their jobs with 9mm, .357, and .38. I've shoved some 30-30 in there too while in the mountains. Looks good, looks gaudy, fits well, won't dump your pistol or ammo in the dirt before you're done with em. Comfortable to ride with, walk with, or sit with. Is it silly n' gaudy to wear this around? As gaudy as silver spurs with jinglebobs, but I've never known a buckaroo to shy away from flashy.

Could not be happier... I wear a 2x, and this has very little room. Considering this jacket are you? I'd order up a size!

I'm 5"3 the 28 inch inseam fits perfect not short but not over long.I will say measure above your belly button I normally wear a 12 but these are high waisted I got a 16 and I shrunk them a bit and there perfect. I do wish they made these in chestnut and dark blue like the mens I would buy a lot more if they did.

The hat looks great and is of good quality. I will try to put something underneath for it to fit better and not wobble on my head. The other hat I ordered was not in inventory, so had to substitute this one.

Holy Cow! This hat was made perfectly! I wanted a hat that said, "late 19th century." My story is that I rode with Quantrell during the Civil War. After the war ended I was labled a bushwacker and a murderer. For the last 15 years, I have lived by my gun and my whits alone. I may sleep under the stars at night, but I don't have to look like it. Though my boots and rawhide vest be worn, when I don my Historical Emporium Cahill hat, I feel I'm finally and properly saluting the past.

I do historical fashion presentations, and I needed a new pair of Victorian-inspired boots, and these didn't disappoint! Thanks for getting them to me so quickly!

Just what I needed to walk

I bought the smoking robe as a gift for my husband for Christmas. He really liked how it looked when he tried it on, but found the lining and shoulder padding uncomfortable and felt it was a bit too "costume-y" for his taste. I returned it. It did look great on though.

Orange is a color you don't see everyday for old west shirts. To my eyes, it looks to be more of a peach color, but still is different. Fits well!

Everything good about the shirt. The good thing about the band collar shirts is that they work so easily with bandanas. The bandanas lay just right when there is no collar in the way. All good!

I bought these suspenders to add to the ones I already had. These were just as good, holding everything up comfortably and fitting well, binding on the shoulders and back. Will buy again if the need calls for it!

Costume for presentations on James Bowie I would have given five star, but the waist of the small I received has way too much girth. It's mot proportional to a small man's waist unless they were built plump.

Based off reviews I originally bought a large to be safe, and it was very loose fitting. I then ordered a medium and it fit so much better! I normally wear a medium in most clothing. It was a little tight going over the chest and on the arms, but once I had it on it fit good. The only issue is due to the arm tightness I can’t fully raise my arms but I only plan to wear it for one day so I can work with that.

This isn’t a costume shirt, it’s a dress shirt designed to the style of a former era, so I expected a lot and it is nearly perfect. Purchased for a Regency/Bridgerton costume to wear with vest and stock. My husband has sensory issues (autism, ADHD) so nothing but a cotton or linen shirt works. This was the only 100% cotton one I found. Seams and buttonholes are dress shirt quality, as expected. No loose threads. Collar has a loop on the back to secure a tie. Collar is double thickness and opaque, stands up on its own but will need ironing and starching. Body of the shirt is slightly translucent - without a vest, an undershirt will be necessary, but it will be cool in summer. Cut is era-appropriately boxy to loose. Lots of ease across the back with pleating. My husband is a chest size 44, but shoulders are 46 so we ordered XL. Turns out he could have sized down to L, as the shoulders are 1/2” past his natural shoulder, but as Regent shoulders were drop shoulders anyway, we’re keeping it. My husband is 6’, but with a 31” inseam so his torso fits like a 6’2” person. The length is perfect, and even at 6’4” you likely could get away with it, though it may be a little harder to keep tucked in is you’re doing more than walking and sitting. We’re very pleased with the shirt and I suspect he’ll look for other occasions and ways to wear it, because it’s so comfy. Photos are hung up wet to drip dry. Relatively wrinkle free, but needs ironing and collar starching for historical accuracy. WARNING: you can’t wear this out of the package without washing. Plan accordingly. It arrived with an intense petrochemical smell like a polyurethane foam mattress that was nauseatingly strong. We had to wash 2x (Tide Pods unscented) to fully eliminate the odor. I have no idea why it smelled so bad but I plan to address it with the brand because it also worries me for the factory workers. (It’s made in Guatemala, which has a large textile manufacturing industry.) This isn’ doesn’t affect the quality of the sheet or ability to use it so no reason to take off a star rating, but if you hate ironing, give yourself time to take it to the cleaners before you need to wear it.

Historical interpretation

I bought this to go with a Top I had also purchased. I exchanged the medium for a large because of snugness. I love the quality of the fabric. I will wear it to an annual Victorian Feast held in our historical state park every year
