Measurements where all true to sizes, on the pants I had to come to the realization that men wore their pants way above their waistline which reminded me of my grandpa Who wore his pants pulled way up even back in the 60's...lol! Once I remembered that and that The Historical Emporium tells you that they fit properly....Duhh! Very happy with the quality of materials used very well made and wearable and comfortable clothing.

Your return policy is not very realistic. You expect a customer to keep or return after just trying something on once. I recently purchased a night gown. I slept in it one and wes told I could not return it for a refund. What happened to your pollcy of satisfication guaranted!

I'd like to first point out that the delivery was quick and easy, I'd recently orderediscovered an item from a different website and I had to wait a week +1 day whereas here I got my order within the week. The price is also good considering the quality of the purchase which is red glasses. Much better quality than other placeside over got them from like Halloween stores for example. I've ordered from gentlemans emporium before and I'll order from them again because I haven't had a single bad experience from then and as of now I can't imagine I ever will

I do a historical impersonation of Minnesota's 1st First Lady, Sarah Sibley, which is given to students at various schools in my area. This year I decided to enhance my costume. First I ordered just the Victorian touring hat. I was so pleased with that purchase I then ordered the black high top shoes and a blouse. All purchases arrived within a few days.
