These are great to wear, and I walked everywhere with them on. They are light, soft and comfortable to wear. I highly recommend buying a pair because they are so wonderful yet plain enough to wear with any outfit.

First off, perceptional internet research exhibits that "The Historical Emporium" carries the most authentic old fashioned apparel products. The Historical Emporium had my "Mad Scientist Howie Lab Coat" shipped the next morning, and almost immediately provided a shipping tracking number. 100% The Lab Coat itself is 99% what I expected. I like that it is long- similar to a trench-coat. However the buttons are NOT made of metal like stated in the item description on the website, and my hypothesis is that the neck collar is NOT "reinforced". My conclusion is that I am 99% satisfied, I would have loved metal buttons and a more reinforced neck collar. I do appreciate the Historical Emporium and will continue to still do business. I love the cut, fit, and color of this vest. Due to the color palette and its silk construction, this vest actually changes color depending on the lighting...especially out in the sun. It's quite a striking look.

This is a great lightweight well made coat. As a shorter round guy the M/L fit me well with the only adjustment needed was the sleeves (stitch witchery fixed it). I actually used this as more of a dark wizard cloak and it worked well. I do wish it had pockets but very minor gripe as i was able to access my own short pockets underneath when needed. The lightweight is great for summer events. Delivery was fast.

A gorgeous vest. Part of my Fall lineup. Fits perfect: 5’10”, 170lbs bought a Medium.

I love the style of this shirt; the side-button flap has a little bit of a bib front feel without looking full-on Cavalry, and the material is a rough-hewn natural feel that can be casual or dressed up a bit with a vest. Sizing was difficult for me because I have dress shirts in neck sizes from 17.5-18.5 and so I bought the XL. It was too big; because the cut in the body was larger the sleeves fell further down my shoulders. I bought the L and it fit perfectly. The sleeve length is the same for both sizes, so I ended up buying both to try them on side by side.

Size was right on and material is of very good quality

This automatically comes up with a 5 star rating but that is what I would give it. The vest is better by quite a bit from what I was expecting. Especially considering that it was not an expensive vest. The workmanship was good and the fabric was really very impressive. I shall wear this with pride. Thank you.

These pants is of amazing quality and craftsmanship. I normally wear a 34 but the 34 was a bit tight. I recommend a size larger. I called about the exchange and the nice lady was very professional and helpful.

Well made and looks very sharp for the bad guy in our Western short film. There is satin fabric in the back. I wish it were all the same tweed material, but it is still very nice.

The fabric is nice and made fairly well. I had a problem with some of the buttons being loose but that was easily fixed by my wife. I originally ordered a 3XL but ended up returning and exchanging it for a 2XL instead. I'm 6ft and weigh 275lbs.
