Nice basic wardrobe piece
Got these to add some historic flare for when I am busking or performing with my banjo. They are great starter piece for a late 19th - early 20th century outfit.
They run a tad small in the bigger sizes so pay attention to the advise to buy a bigger than you think.

I like it but
I don't know if its because I've got a bit of a belly, but the sash goes around my waste, but there is barely enough material to tie it off. It definitely does not hang way down like the picture shows, it hangs down maybe 3 inches.

I have several of these vests from Historical Emporium. I wear them at casual business events, travelling, etc. With a white shirt (some period/historical; black slacks, boots) o look smart but a bit unconventional (I'm in IT :).
The vests are lightweight, fit nicely (I leave them unbuttoned).
I'm 6', but thin/lean build (28" waist) so small works.
They wear well; some are 7+ years old, only fraying a bit.
With the collection I have its a great wardrobe

sturdy shoe
I bought these to wear but they are a bit big on me ( I wear a size 10 womens)
My main concern is the buckle. It flaps away from the shoe side and is very annoying while wearing the shoe. I'm trying to figure out a way to keep it down.
The shoes look good and are very sturdy.

Beautifully constructed and lined dress
I've made several purchases from Historical Emporium and every item has been of excellent quality. Before ordering the Rebecca Regency dress, I reached out to customer service about sizing. I typically wear a medium, but I was in between sizes for the sleeve circumference. The representative advised me to order a size up, noting that the dress is highly customizable with drawstrings on the bodice. That was great advice!
