The twin vest royal blue is a lovely bright colour looks great with dark suite, would recommend this vest my my occasions.

The Klondike silver vest is very stylish, looks very classy on, it's great for a dressy occasion. Would recommend this colour and style.

Really like this authentic style wind-up watch, wind it every day & it keeps very good time, the case looks like real silver and fits nicely in your watch pocket on your jeans or vest.

This is a great vest. It is my second purchase from Historical Emporium. Fits very well. I ordered the Small which states 37" chest. I'm 5'7" and typically wear a 38R coat. The color is close to what the picture shows. It is truly Olive in color, just as described, but just slightly leaning toward a brown hue. Its understated nature lends itself to being worn for all occasions. Looks great wearing both dress pants and blue jeans. Another great product from Historical Emporium!

I was a bit apprehensive about getting a canvas vest however this has come to be one of my favorites. It keeps it's shape all day and is really more of a reddish brown which happens to be a good thing for my wardrobe.

This vest is actually more of a gold than a brown. However that same unique color makes it great to wear with ties or shirts that have some gold in them to make it pop. I really like it but it does get a bit wrinkled by the end of the day hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

This is a really sharp looking vest and can both dress up or down. My only issue is that while it's great while standing it bunches up a little when sitting; however it does still hold it's shape.

Well made, sizing was good, nice fit and finish, heavy cotton similar to demim weight so should be pretty durable, would have been nice if it was lined, but I suppose that would cost more. Only reason did not give 5 stars is the adjuster strap in the back, it seems to have been added in as more of an afterthought, kinda basic.

I ordered this skirt in a size small, but the fit was a bit tight. I did return it and am awaiting the size medium. I love the print on this fabric. It has a train which can be bustled up if needed which I love. The waist is all elastic which I do like but it didn't have much give. But I am happy with the quality of the skirt. Also I emailed because I had a question and they responded the same day!! Never had that happen before with any other company.

This slip is so pretty and dainty. The fabric is beautiful and the lace detail is lovely. The fit is great because it adjust to accommodate well beyond my usual size. Will be using it for all my skirts to give it that extra something and just the right amount of fullness.

googles are as described, but are quite wide so they didn't seal around the eyes well. Discovered that the thick gauge wire across the nose is adjustable, so they fit fine now.

We bought this to go with a complete outfit. This is very good quality. Our daughter is getting married Steampunk style and the hat is perfect.

There isn't much to say about these other than they are well made, sturdy, and I expect they will last me a lifetime. Simple classic quality.

I'm a big guy with a big beer belly. I usually wear Carhartt work pants every single day. So I was worried about buying high-waisted pants that would need to go over my belly. What size should I get?!? Originally I measured around my belly button, but the pants were enormous. So I wound up buying a pair that was 1-2" bigger than my regular Carhartts. These fit very well! The pants themselves are as well-made as a pair of Carhartts, too! Sturdy canvas, great buttons, very useful pockets (even with a small internal watch-pocket!), these things are not costume-only. You could easily wear these every single day. I am now wearing them in a theater production and intend to add them to my regular wardrobe once the production is over. They are THAT comfortable and useful!

I am a Big Dude, and this shirt is amazing. The fabric is linen-like, so it is heavy enough to hold its shape, but also breathes nicely. The buttons and button holes are well made and strong. The only "problem" is that the inside lapel (the one you DON'T see), has nothing holding it in place, so unless it is well-ironed, it can droop down and bunch up, creating a bit of a lump inside the shirt. But when ironed, it sticks in place well.

Odor was very strong until I used leather cleaner on it. It is supposed to fit up to 50 some inches. It barely fits 40". I have no idea when I'll use it. Impulse buy.

I like the style, cut & fit, the front looks good, the buttons are a dull metal of some kind, but they look historically accurate. I was surprised, however that the lining (a blackish-grayish w/ some white vertical lines like veins in a leaf, looks a bit like stretchy dark blue jeans material) is also the back of the vest. So the front is a nice dark brown, (not tan) and brushed, feels nice and soft, but the back is a different material entirely. The back has a nice little tie belt at waist level to give it a custom tailored look/fit. I got a large cause they were out of medium, and it's a bit big on me (my bust size is 36.5") But I can probably take it in a bit. Nice little pockets in the front are real.

Boots are well made and size is spot on. I ordered one size larger because my experience with high legged boots told me I needed more space around and above the ankle but the boots fit great! They are well made and worth the price!

I expected the leather to look richer than it does and the cotton back panel to be lighter in color. Both appear that way in the picture on your website but not on the actual garment. My goal was to buy a vest that replicated the one John Wayne wore in the movie Chisum. On your website, this one looked exactly like it; in reality, it comes close but it's not a true match. Still, the item will suit my purpose all right but I was just a little disappointed with the overall look of it when it arrived.

I belong to a 19t Century musical group known as the Tuckahoe Travelers and wanted something other than a Frock coat or a Sack coat to improve my stage clothes. I am impressed and pleased with the design, workmanship and craftsmanship. The weight of the fabric alone was very pleasing. All I can say is 5 stars to the product and to the company for providing us with products like these.

I love it. Except for the pant (which I didn't think would fit anyway) the coat and vest are like they were made for me. I can always have the pants taken in and altered.

This Cavalier vest looks much better in-person.

The suggestion about neck size being key is very accurate, focus on that for your measurement. They say the sleeves are extra long which I was worried about as I am going to dance in this but for me they weren't that bad the lace on the sleeve went down to my palm and with the elastic I could pull it up some and still be comfortable, the sleeves weren't overly baggy. The material is good quality, feels and looks good. Hard to know what will fit when buying online but it fits well and makes a great impression when wearing it.

It is a very dark ascot, but that just makes the red standout even better.

The ascot is great quality, but it was a little darker than I had anticipated based on the photo.

I picked these up for a costume. The pictures advertise these goggles with a cloth strap that ties in the back, instead they came with an elastic strap. It wasn't too big of a problem because they were mostly going to be resting on my hat. Unfortunately, the elastic strap wasn't quite long enough to fit my hat. I then tried to put them on my head and before I even got them on, the nose strap tore in half. I've since replaced all the straps with leather, and even though they're not the most comfortable, they look nice.

I LuV my Velvet Tailcoat ! I am rather slim & tall, I think. My kids call me little. I know I have broad shoulders. I ordered a Large according 2 the size chart associated with this coat. 2 accomodate my shoulders. ah ha ha & cool I usually wear a Small. Now I have this gorgeous tailcoat that sits nice on my shoulders. I have had 2 move the waist button. Simple procedure 4 this coat. 4 all those so inclined 2 this style enjoy !

I was looking for garters to wear during a stint as a "celebrity" blackjack dealer for one of our non-profits. They are very well made, and I am sure that I will wear them again at the next casino charity event!
