i bought this gun belt and holster for my umarex colt peacemaker. im very pleased with this style of gun belt and the gun cartridges fit perfect in the belt loops. i measured my hips correctly when ordering the belt but should have moved up a size. its nit picking really as when the belt is hanging off my hips the belt buckle does not sit centre. i like the tooling on the belt and the holster is very durable. a well made product for the price..

You get what you pay for: this isn't one of those mass-produced, flimsy material, imported shirts; this is a high-quality, great fabric, great fitting, MADE IN AMERICA garment. I also really like the fact that it comes in TALL sizes - the sleeves are long enough and the body still has a nice fit - not too baggy. I'm very happy to have spent the extra money for this shirt!

I was looking for a tweed or herringbone vest that could be considered conservative relative to the velvet vest I had purchased. The feel and the color was spot on. And, a perfect fit.

These are really good boots - well put together and surprisingly comfortable, and they look fantastic too :) One thing to note though is that the soles are quite soft leather, not like the hardened leather you'd normally find on the soles of riding boots. I took mine straight away to a local cobbler and he put on a non-slip sole and a proper heel, so now they will last me forever as I'll just replace the new soles when they wear through, and the leather will remain intact!

I purchased the vest in large measure due to the photo. The colors were even more vivid in person. The fit was excellent as well.

Vary pleased with the cartridge belt in 38/357 fits gun vary good. Would recommend it. Good material and good workmen's ship.

I ordered this hat purely based on the appealing and simple curvilinear shape. (I am in no way a hat nor history buff.) It is perfect: soft and malleable with a nice wide brim. I'm going to order it in black as well.

I ordered this Bancroft Double Breasted Vest to complete an ensemble for an "All White Dress Up" affair. The event is Diner en Blanc held in cities throughout the U.S. and Internationally which requires all attendees to wear all white for an all white surprise group picnic dinner at a secret location. The affair is to be treated as elegant thus the need for the Brancroft Double Breasted Vest. My only wish is that it would have been available in white as cream as ordered was the only color offered in this style that was close to white.

The product looks impressive but I found it stiff and not a silky feeling as I am used to. Also your sizing is very large. I ordered a small which is usual for vests but easily used an xs. As was I ended up having it tailored to the appropriate size and even the people in the shop thought it was mis-sized. But now it does look good.

It fits well, I just need to personally fit it to my head.

Yes everything you have read about these items are true. Colour is almost exactly that of the photo (depending on your monitor). The material does stretch a little but you are not going to fit a 38 into a 36. The length needs tailoring unless you have freakish long legs, which i propose you can leave if you are going to always where long boots with them. If not, I suggest having a stirrup place to either go under your arch of your foot, or something similar but more sturdy to go under your boot to pull the trousers tight, like a British Army Officers mess dress pair of trousers. I hope they make them in white as I could definitely use them for my Napoleonic re-enactment uniforms. The grey or black could be used but only for field uniforms and most likely British Army only. French, you need white, dark blue or bone coloured. Personally I have not tested them in the saddle so don't know how they would wear under such conditions. Otherwise I look 'dead sexy' in them and will have to attend the gym to tighten up those gluten!

I got this vest for an elopement with my fiancee. I had gotten one from amazon. It didn't fit well and felt very cheap (and the price wasn't cheap). I sent it back and did a little googling and found this vest on Historical Emporium. The fit was very good and the quality exceeded the price. It's a very comfortable and good looking vest that I will be wearing for a long time.

First I usually do not like to purchase products online, I like to be able to see and feel what I am purchasing. There are not any retail stores in my area that sell a Belt/Holster unit, so I went online. Price was reasonable, I did not expect to get a top line product for the price and I am happy with what I received. My only concern is the actual belt strap that goes into the buckle. It seems very cheap and I do not think it is going to hold up. Other than that I am satisfied with my purchase.
