This was perfect for completing my Dr. Horrible costume! The color is very rich (i.e., the image isn't misleading), the stitching seems to be professional, and the fit (at least for me) was almost perfect. The only thing that you will be disappointed by is that there aren't more occasions to wear this.

A great piece of clothing. Sturdy and warm for the winter months. Keep a lint brush handy though as the material is something of a magnet when it comes to wayward hairs and lint. That minor aspect aside, a great and recommended purchase indeed.

It took a little while to get used to but once you get the trick to holding it in, it is well worth the look; but eating is physically impossible while keeping it in.

Spirit Gum adhesive is inexpensive and packaged well. Will order more as needed. Works well to secure Swingline rubber finger tips to fingers for severe use in manufacturing.

My order arrived quickly and I was greatly impressed by the quality of the jacket, stunning! I hope they soon become available in the same cut in more colors because this jacket in burgundy would be beautiful. Just putting a bug inn someone's ear...hint hint. ;-)

I was a bit skeptical when I first ordered the holster, I was surprised when it came that it was far better than I thought it would ever be. I did however thought the bottom of the holster would be sealed up, even though it has an open bottom it holds my replica pistol perfectly. I still give it five stars because its a wonderful product through and through goes perfect with the rest of my outfit for reenactments.

I bought this for my wife and, being a typical guy, I did not know her size or how it would work. I used the sizing guide and it worked out well. The blouse is high quality. She loves it and directed me to buy from this shop more often. I guess I did good. Thanks for your help.

Although nicely cut the sewing was not great (puckers) and the fabric is too thin for this type of suit.

I generally prefer purchases over $50 to be practical rather than "just for fun." For example, clothing items must go with more than one outfit, and be usable in multiple situations. I had to purchase "period" clothing for a costume for work. Of course, I went for something simple and plain as my first choice--It was unavailable in my size. That, however was the blessing in disguise! After much pondering, I chose the Commissioner Frock Coat. I *love* it! It makes me feel feminine in a very powerful way. The best part is that its cut will allow me to wear it over modern dresses and i can use it for many other costumes besides my work costume.

The skirt is great and true to size. Shipping was timely.

I was very impressed with the "customer service" I received each time I called about an item. I needed a "steam punk" costume for the dance formation team (9 couples) I am a member of and our choreographer/director recommended the Emporium. I showed the director a picture of a skirt and blouse that I liked and he approved of them. I only had to do alterations on the blouse, since it was too long in front. After the first dress rehearsal, the lower two buttons on the blouse kept coming through the button holes, so I used Velcro to make sure the buttons on the blouse wouldn't come through. Everyone loved my outfit! As a seamtress, who now only does alterations, I was very pleased with the fabrics, designs, and workmanship.

Outstanding product and a good fit. Only concern I have is that the width does not complement my facial shape. I may have missed seeing a reference to cap diameter in the online description of the cap; such a description would be most helpful to purchasers, as the picture of the model wearing the cap makes it sort of hard to estimate how it will look. An Irish motoring cap probably would have been my better selection, but no complaints about quality of material and workmanship of this cap.

I was exhibiting in a Maker Faire this past Saturday with my new work. I'm creating pieces out of copper pipes and other metal things, wood bowls, and plasma disks. I made these with Steampunk in mind so this shirt was perfect for the occasion (friends and organizers told me it was a must for me to be dressed up). So with this and the fingerless gloves just ordered, I was decked out perfect. I do have to mention about the "fitting" though. I almost ordered an XL because I have a full neck (size 17 1/2 is usually needed lest I asphyxiate), but a size L or M for the rest -depending on the cut. I decided to order the L instead (16 1/2 neck) so the chest/belly/sleeves would not be overly large. I figured to leave the next button unbuttoned. The shirt fit perfectly with plenty of extra room at the neck! I was surprised. The sleeves may have been a little long (too me), but not so much as to be really noticeable. Anyway, the overall cut seems quite different than the standard measurements/sizing posted. Maybe this could be noted in some manner? People loved the outfit - and were really excited about my work (had to fit in some self-promotion here. B) The crew at the Emporium are very nice too.

Going to an old-style burlesque event and you know no one looks at the men? This jacket is the perfect thing to wear with a vest and Victorian ascot to complete the look. You still won't compete with the women in bustiers and garters but at least you will be theme-appropriate. High quality, looks great, price very nice.

Looks good but the adhesive supplied did not last the night. Next time I will try 2-sided body tape like the kind women use to keep the dress in place over cleavage

The waistcoat makes one appear to be rich, which is good. The fit is generally good, with plenty of room in the shoulders. The only problem is that the pockets are very shallow.

The coat is soft and warm, and the buttons are sewn on very well. The fabric plaid pattern is lined up well from panel to panel and overall the whole thing looks dandy.

I ordered this after reading all of the positive reviews, but still somehow expecting a problem: wrong size, customer service, shipping time, etc. -- But I cannot explain how impressed I was with everything. The quality was amazing, shipping was fast, and the sizing was perfect. I didn't need to experience the customer service past the initial purchase because it was great. I bought it for a friend of mine as a birthday gift, and I had to watch everyone swoon over his excellent vest that I picked out and purchased. Ordered 2 of these - Size M for my smaller bigger brother and an XL for me - the bigger little brother. When I received them I tried mine on right away and found the XL to fit perfectly in the legs, arms, and across the chest. The problem was in the fit between crotch and neck - way too small - gives me a wedgie! Should've got an XLT. Off to charity it goes! My smaller bigger brother said his fit just fine except maybe a bit long in the legs and sleeves but otherwise it's great.

All in all, a very nicely made gun belt and holster. The gun belt is actually tighter at the additional 4 inches they tell you to add. Add 6 inches and I believe you will like the results a bit better. Of course, if I lost 10 pounds...but I wear a 34in. waist and got the 38er...but it is also brand new and not broken in. It is a beautiful and quite functional and secure system for my .45 colt

In my experience, sizing is a bit off on this otherwise very finely made hat. The issue seems to lie not with the actual dimensions of the hat, which are correct, but that the shape of the band is nearly circular rather than oval. This makes the fit a bit too snug in the front and back, with extra space on the sides. I don't know if this will self-correct with use -- perhaps the hat will reshape a bit upon being worn?

I loved the product and pranked my swim coach good with it. However, don't try and swim in it, it's a real task to swim in though the chlorine did not harm the product at all. I got a little bit of colour-bleeding in the wash so don't wash it with whites. Product was fine after washing.

I LOVE this fascinator! I had coveted it for a while and the a friend bought it for me as a gift. It exceeded my expectations! So cute.

I love the leather and buckle look of these! Unfortunately they were too big - one size does not fit all, and they are not really adjustable beyond the few buckle holes - I'm going to take about 2" off the elastic part in the back to make them work and possibly shorten the leather ends by an inch or two just to avoid lots of extra "tongue" Also one side had more holes than the other, so if you're not careful, you can adjust them lopsided. (my guy wears a Medium size in everything, so he's not exceptionally tiny or thin) Still, it's worth the few adjustments for the classier look of the leather!
