Several waist sizes ago I bought a gun belt and holster on Main Street in Los Angeles. I was impressed with the quality and workmanship and at such a low price. When I ordered the gun belt and holster from Western Emporium, it looked like it was as good as what I had gotten before. When my package arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It was every bit as good. I have received several compliments already and I haven't left the house yet. I look forward to my venture in the world outside.

Once again you've hit another home run. I've always liked men's hats from a past age. In my travels throught the years I've lost all the old hats I had that belonged to my father and grandfather. I thought they were gone for good, now I find I can replace all of them. Thank you very much.

I am a little disappointed in the stiffness of the hat. I have not worn it other than to make certain it fits and an concerned over the stiffness of the hat. I have hot decided as to whether or not I will keep it.

While the frock has no outside pockets, it has got 3 very convenient inside pockets. I ordered a size larger to wear as an overcoat and the fit is perfect. I normally don't care for padded shoulders but I look very good in this frock none-the-less.

the vest met and exceeded my expectations. The tweed is very good fabric and the garment is quite well made. Not only do I look dapper, I stay nice and warm. The price can't be beat either. Similar vests run nearly twice the price in department stores.

Talls are hard enough to find, but I also prefer lapels, and so many vests these days are cheap, no lapel satin boring things meant for tuxes. This vest is appropriate whether you're trying to sport a vintage look or just trying to accent your current wardrobe.

After placing a large order with several different items, I was promptly notified that a couple of the items were on back order. I was given the option of either waiting for them, or picking another similar item. Choosing to wait, I was then notified when the items were available, which was maybe a day or so. Then I had to exchange and item and they were very helpful with this. Unlike some businesses who are jerks and kinda seem inconvenienced with their customers, you guys are great and a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be coming back for any and all of my future wants/needs.

My Vigilante Town coat came promptly and well packaged as all my Emporium orders have. The coat is well made with a finish that leaves the impression of a sharp distinctive look without too much flash. My coat was ordered as a 48" chest; the coat's fit is shapped giving it a slightly snug fit as compared to a contemporary coat, yet I'm confident a 50" chest would feel too big. Im 72" tall with a inseam of only 29.5", so my upper body is on the long side. In spite of this, the sleeves on the Town Coat were 2" too long. The coat's construction made it simple to re-hem the cuffs and relocate the buttons. Suit sets made all of the same material ,"ditto suits," were not common to the period representative of this coat: my recommendation is to consider wearing this coat with a vest other than the Vigilante vest. The reason is the brushed texture of the like materials have a bit of a clinging feel. Wearing the coat with my Humboldt vest or canvas vest have a much more natural feel of movement. The ballance between cost, quality and unique style make this a good buy.

Although used the gaiters were in very good condition. I use them for motorcycle riding suit protection from hot motorcycle exhaust. They do exactly what I want them to do. Thanks for a great product.

For the price, I find this watch exceptional. At first you might hesitate due to the lower price if this would be worth it. It is, incredibly so. Solid construction, real glass, etc. A quality piece, at least in my opinion. The only, ONLY reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the leather strap that accompanies is not similiar to the one shown. The one shown seems to be a sturdy strap but the one that came with my watch was a very light weight, almost suede type strap that seemed fairly fragile, I quickly replaced it with another watch chain. But, other than that, it is an amazing piece. You do have to wind it every other day or so, but I love that about it. I have acquired many compliments on the piece as well.

A fine hat, I like anything made with lite felt. Sz. Large is a wee bit more loose, but my hat size is actually 7'1/4, so it makes sense. Otherwise it fits perfectly and looks great with any outfit, modern or traditional.

Man I sure got taken for a ride with these crappy goggles. Should be in the 99 cent bin.

I was told to order a smock to protect my clothing from dust and other contaminants in an office environment. Since I prefer to be unique and different from everyone else, I decided to order this Mad Scientist Lab Coat. I forgot to mention, I'm a female and I'm 5'7". I ordered it in a small. The arms are a little long but I like them that way. The length of the coat was hella long but super cool. It looks exactly like it does in the picture. The only thing is that these coats are definitely meant for men. Men's waists are a lot lower than women's and so it makes it look as if it hugs around the hips. Other than that, it is a great purchase and I will rock this lab coat!

Canvas trousers were as good as name brand, good fut and good construction. Cheaper, a big plus, then the name brand Thanks

I sent them back because they stated they were size 38. That's in Guatamalin size which is at least two sizes smaller than our 38.

I am only giving it at this time 4 stars because I have only had the pocket watch for 2 weeks, but so far it works fine, it's quite weighty when you hold it in your hand so it doesn't feel cheap or chinsy. This is a very good looking watch, I liked the 2 tone ( the gold and silver together, because I feel it can be worn with anything ). A solid Silver, or a solid Gold watch generally are worn with a perticular style of outfit, or for the perticular event one would be attending, but to me, this should be able to go for any situation, or any style of outfit. Although to be safe it might have bein a good idea to get a second chain gold in color, so if I felt it was nesessary to use a gold chain rather than the Silver one, I would have the option to do so. Something for those of you who might be interested in this pocket watch to think of at the time of purchase, in addition to just the Silver Chain it come with, get a extra gold one. ( Just a thought ). A note to the watch makers, ( Charles - Hubert Paris ), 2 items would make it better, first the minute, and hour hands should be a little bigger, this would make it easier to read the time, and second the chain should have bin of a two tone look as well, ( Silver + Gold ). This would have complimented the watch better. This would have eliminated me from now thinking I should have gotent an extra solid Gold chain as well. That aside, so far the watch has met my exoectations. The very first time I wore it out I got compliments not only on it's looks, but also for the people who actualy handled it they said it felt of high quality because of it's weightyness ! Thanks again for what seems to be so far a great pocket watch!

Excellent, quality vest.

The shirt is constructed of a light twill, and the pleats are sewn down so as not to be messed up. This is a nice feature, I think. The cuffs and collar lack interfacing and thus are quite soft. From a historical standpoint, that is bad; from one of comfort, it is good. Also, the collar can be turned up just as adverised, however I would only do that if you have a long, wide cravat capable of being wound about a few times, or else it looks weird. Overall, worth the price.

These pants are of a heavy, loosely woven wool and are really warm, which makes them great for northern winters. A must-have seasonal item.

This jacket runs a little large. I typically wear a 42" in a jacket, but I had to return the 42" for a 40" (which fits perfectly!). Beautifully constructed, and fine quality. I would highly recommend this jacket. Also the return process (for the 42") was effortless. Historical Emporium has a phenomenal Customer Service Department! 2 thumbs up!!!

Just as advertised, feel great, nice fit. Follow the sizing directions! I measured myself just under my belly button and the pants are just a little snug, but still comfortable. Probably my fault - I think I sucked in my gut a bit while measuring! Practically perfect, otherwise.

I received my boots much quicker than I expected. I am very pleased with the quality of the leather & lining & especially the thickness of the soles. I was, however, just a bit put out at having to immediately put the boots in the shop & spend $32 to have regular thickness rubber pieces added on the heels as I actually bought these boots for everyday wear. Had I left them as received, I would have been into the leather in a week. I am guessing that were I a re-enactor I would probably have applied metal pieces, but that would not have worked too well for me. This is the one major concession that for the price, I would have expected to have seen for modern day. Otherwise, I am very pleased wtih these boots. I have been wanting a good pair of tall boots again since they went away back in the late '70's. The Pale Rider boot certainly fills the bill!

I purchased this stache for a costume event! It held up well for the entire evening I wore my costume with the spirit gum! Great fit and reusable which I really love!

I bought this stache for a petite friend who has very fair skin, I thought the blonde would be too light for her skin tone. It was perfect! Held up well with the spirit gum for the entire time we wore our costumes!

I used the spirit gum to apply a mustache for a 5k run in the cold & wet. It stayed put with no problems at all! Great product!
