Light enough for summer wear, sturdy enough for formal wear, not just the occasional costume ball. It has a slimming effect I really like (and it makes me *want* lose weight, so I'll look even better!). I have nothing but praise for this coat. Talk to me in a couple of years, I'll let you know how it wears. Right now, it's simply outstanding. My cats had a run at it when it was hanging and I was able to easily repair the damage. I think Historical Emporium and I have a wonderful relationship - well, their clothes and I do, at any rate!

I don't know and I don't care. The vest is just as advertised. It fits well, it's classy, it's smart - what's not to like? My only "complaint" is that the pockets are *too* well sewn up. I was unable to safely undo them before I wore the vest. Ah, well, I tucked my pocket watch into the waistband of my pants as all was well. Still, the stitching is really finished work, not easy to undo. And frankly, I would bet that most of us ordering these items are wearing pocket watches. And that's the worst I have to say. Don't feel uneasy about buying this vest, it's quite worth it!

This one makes you feel like royalty. Beautiful with a high collar shirt and cravat. XXL was a little to big for me but fixed it thightening the strap at the back.

The hoop skirt arrived in good shape and appears to be what I need. However, I am waiting for a ball gown to try it on together.

The hat is just as pictured, and is a great 'Dickens' era reproduction! I have been wearing it with a black cape, and the burgundy skirt from the Edwardian Librarian costume. Perfect!

This dress is beautiful and is exactly what I hoped to receive based on the photo and description. It might be helpful to see a back view to reveal the beautiful bustling ability of the train on the skirt! The sizing was spot-on and the fit was perfect. The color is rich and the fabric is quality. Not like a "costume" at all, the real thing!

After doing extensive research on the web, I purchased the Newsboy Brown Wool Tweed cap. The pictures looked good and the price was right. The cap I received is much better than I expected it to be. It is well made (in the USA), fits as it should and looks great. I was so impressed that I immediately ordered another just like it in the grey version. These are definately the hats that I will be wearing from now on. Also, although I requested standard shipping (on both orders) they were shipped 2-day delivery. With such good product and service you can't go wrong doing business with these folks. I undoubtedly will be ordering from them again. Soon.

This is an excellent shirt. It fits wonderfully, and arrived just when it was predicted to arrive. My only caveat to other buyers is to wash it by hand for at least the first time, as the dye runs a bit, and you wouldn't want the entire laundry load to turn pink!

The fabric is gorgeous, it fits perfectly at the waist and bust, and is a truly flattering cut. The sleeves were a tad long on me, so I had to hem them a little, but everything else was perfect.

I ordered the .44/45 long barrel holster/belt for my 1963 Ruger Blackhawk .44 Mag "Flat Top" with a 6 1/2" barrel. The gun fits the holster like a glove. The trigger strap is adjustable and I have had no "dye bleeding" as reported by other reviews. The .44 Mag casings fit the 12 loops perfectly. The sizing instructions on the Web site were spot on. I could not be more happy. I will definitely be buying more products from Western Emporium. Also, the customer service is outstanding. Thank you Jamie in helping me make my decision! Overall, I could not be happier! Great product, great quality, great fit, great customer service. You would think the holster/belt would cost 2 or 3 times what I paid for it. I have been wearing it as part of my Christmas apparel when doing presentations at Seniors Residences & in the Christmas weekend at the Fanshawe Pioneer village were I portray an 19th century print shop owner/operator. One thing that appealed at the seniors home (where they keep the thermostat set high) is the light weight material in this vest.

The formal tailcoat looks great, will wear it in a theatrical production of "Dinner For One".

This shirt is excellent! However, I Stress that you get this shirt one size SMALLER. I am a 18 1/2 neck size and I got a 2XLT . It was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to big! and the neck was much to loose. So, I got an XL and that fit perfectly regardless of the fact that the measurement chart said it was for neck sizes 17-17 1/2 And say if you are 6'2 DONT get your shirt in a Tall size like I did with the 2XLT. However if you are 6'4 I'd highly recommend it.

These Studs I prefer much more than the standard one that is sent with a shirt that requires it, because they have excellent grip based on the shape of the ball. Does not constrict your neck or anything like that either. You'll need to buy these if you lose things easily too trust me!

The Material is exactly what I expected. The Lengh of the Puff tie is perfect too! The only reason for 4 stars is because the Puff tie itself is a PAIN to get on! So whatever you do PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE with the adjustment parts so you can get that perfect fit every time. Make sure you also purchase a shirt that has a tab in the back to slip the buckle into, or else it will eventually ride up your neck and will become loose and you'll look ridiculous. But if you are looking for a sharp black puff tie, purchase this one and you will not be dissapointed! :)

The rig was sent in a very timely fashion. However, the in side of the belt was so slick the it slid to the floor. That was fixed with some very course sandpaper. The chocolate brown leather turned out to be more of a pink. This too was resolved with the use of multiple coats of brown polish.

I'd purchased this item before, and experienced no problems (save forgetting to trim the adhesive!), however most recently upon ordering the same product found asymmetrical curls at the ends. Very nice, although the 3X was still too small around my 19 1/2" to 20" neck and at the wrists. but that does not reflect poorly on the quality and convenience of the shirt and removable Jabot. I highly recomend it although it didn't work for me.

This tie would look so much better if it was longer, and made with a satin or silk material to make a bolder statement. As it stands, there is nothing to make this item something to get excited about when I wear it, and the cotton material makes it feel like a cheap reproduction of something grander.

Very nice, but too small for a larger man. something of this sort may have to be tailored if you are of an odd size. Much too tight in the shoulders for me even the tapestry tailcoat in 3X was too small though. Having said that this does not reflect poorly on the product which I am sure I would have been very happy with.

The cravat is not as wide as pictured. But it still worked with the vest we ordered.

I loved everything about the skirt but wished it was a little longer. I'm 5'11'' and the skirt was not as long as I would have liked, but still great!

The gloves looked the part but the fingers frayed within hours of wearing. Could only wear these once.

I have wanted a high-collar band dress shirt for a long time for use as an alternative to wearing a tie during formal evenings, and dinners. This shirt is an excellent answer to my need. The pictures of the shirt are presented in such a way that they are unable to show the true beauty of the item, and the silver buttons are intricate and striking. The fit is perfect and is more than I had hoped for, and the satin tone-on-tone material is a showstopper. This looker has garnered many head-turns during the couple of times that I have already worn it, and I am of a mind to buy another one just in case an unforeseen circumstance arises.

I own many canes. Some quite more expensive. This cane is by far my favorite. It has a quality feel. The flasks are perfectly sized and slide out of the handle very smoothly! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great cane!

This is a gift for Christmas and as such we have not put it to use. However, I will say that ordering was easy and delivery fast and efficient.

The picture doesn't quite do this vest justice. It's really textured, the pin stripes are raised just a bit. The color isn't as quite as dark as the picture (I'd call it more charcoal than black). All the stitching seems very solid, as do the buttons. The buttons are smaller than I thought they would be, and the button holes have thread hanging, but it's really not an issue. The reason I can't give this vest all 5 stars is because even with measuring, the vest was very tight fitting. It will have to be altered just a bit in order to fit correctly. Other than that it's a great vest, very handsome!
