The coat seems to have an iridescence of green. I will know for sure when it is in the bright sunlight of the Sacramento St. Patrick's Day Parade on the 15th ... Plus this coat is exactly what was being worn during the 1850-1860 p3riod except for the vaunted hip pockets ... which I would have a tailor turn to a straight seam (as in no hip pockets)'.

Not too much to say about these. They are top quality suspenders with leather attachment straps.

I wasn't sure about these when I ordered them but was pleasantly surprised once I received them. Material is just like a pair of jeans and I'm sure will be just as durable. I'm very happy with these.

The hat was much whiter than I expected. I assumed that the bow would be beige but it is stark white and the feathers aren't as voluminous as the picture shows - they shed. But all in all - it's beautiful.

bought this on short notice for a high school play. The quality of the item is so good that it appears to be everyday apparel and not a costume. I purchased it a size larger and although it was slightly big, it didn't need alterations. It's well made, looks great and fits in perfectly with the 1912 timeframe. Couldn't be happier with this product.

I ordered this jacket 2 sizes smaller than what I would normally wear and still found it too big! I also noticed that the fabric has a very distinct smell to it that was not appealing, and if kept, would have to air the jacket out for awhile to minimize the smell coming off it. It's unfortunate there are additional costs to pay for an exchange and return of an item, I would have reordered a smaller size.

I ordered this vest for my husband since we already had the Chadwick pants that match it. Put together, it's a great outfit. The vertical stripe is very slimming and the vest is made and fits well. A winner!

I ordered this vest according to the size chart and my husband's measurements. It is, ah, a bit big. We will have to have it tailored to fit. I easily could have ordered one, maybe two sizes down. However, my husband loves the vest, so we are keeping it.

This soft, tough well sewn shirt should give years of service. The fit is perfect. It is cut for swinging an axe or mounting a double barreled shotgun. It looks good too.

The suspenders/braces are well made , fit well . Only problem I had was I needed to open the button holes & the button loops would be better if round instead of flat. But that is just what i`m use to, just a personal thought . I will probally buy two more colors they slide better that way . Will probally buy different button tags & change them out the flat loops don`t flex as well if your moving a lot .

Really well made , like the high waist keeps my shirts tucked in no matter what I`m doing Also like the brace buttons I don`t have to wear a belt & don`t worry about droopy pants . Fits well either over my boots or tucked in depending on boot style . I`m on the tall side & the fit is great . Got 0ne size larger like you said fit was good, they wear well when riding or walking . Probaly buy a few more different pairs .

Really nice vest , pairs well with a lot of different shirts & trousers I have . Pockets are really nice & handy if you ride horses or motorcycles or wear a heavy gun belt, no more digging for stuff in your pants pockets . Picked this up to go with my Colt & Ruger single actions and the holster holds both guns extremely well.

I have always wanted a western style holster. I found this one and ordered it and I couldn't be more pleased!!! This gun belt and holster is BEAUTIFUL!!! The quality and construction are awesome!! I am using it with my Ruger 6" GP !00 357 magnum, and it fits perfectly. The cartridge loops on the belt are also perfect and hold the cartridges like they should. Received this holster and belt. Quality is excellent. Just make sure you just add 4 inches to your normal belt size and it will fit perfect. I took measurements like they indicated in the drawing, However, I ended up 2" longer than what I really required. I had ordered a 38" size. It was 2" to long. My waist size is 32", so I really only needed a 36" belt size for the holster & gun belt, not a 38" belt size. Anyway, I tried it on and found out the 38" belt size was to large. I shipped it back the next day for replacement for the correct 36" belt size. I contacted their customer service letting them know that I was returning it for the correct size. They had a replacement back to me within five days total after receiving the first time. Great customer service and response! The product is of high quality and the price was half to three times less in price than other competitors on the internet. Will buy from them again should I require anything else. Great job Historical Emporium and staff!

Puff tie is OK although a bit hard to work with and wear. Perhaps that was the way they were. I have not way of knowing. However, it is good quality and I am generally happy with it. It requires constant attention while wearing even with a stick pin. No name for privacy reasons.

I bought this vest to wear with a kilt jacket that I have had for some years. The jacket is ancient blue in colour and matching it was not likely, so I decided to go with a contrasting vest. This one was the colour and length I wanted. I simply replaced the buttons with Scottish thistle diamond-shaped ones and the vest goes beatifully with my kilt outfit. The quality and workmanship are excellent. I'm very satisfied.

Corset colors are great - do not like the ribbon ties in back - my other corsets have a almost shoe string tying the back - the ribbon tying does not "hold" maybe because the ribbon is slick - other type much, much better

The size was very good...took advise from other reviewers on that. However, the shoulder seam was a little too large, so I am sewing in a dart. The bottom of the sleeves are also a little too big, so I will be trying to tighten them about 1/2". I love the material and the styling. I have a really pretty broch to wear with it and some antique looking earrings also.

I am so happy I purchased this bathing costume. I took it with me on a recent trip to Europe. I wore it at the pool where it seemed like the bigger bellied and older a guy was, the smaller his swim suit was. Me, being a younger man with a more fit physique, did elicit a few strange looks... I hope I lead by example: cover up a little. No need to show it *all* off. Leave something to the imagination! The fabric is modern, but I found it performs well. You'll need to wear a speedo underneath or you'll be leaving less to the imagination than what the cut and style would suggest. I hope this style of suit makes a comeback. Until then, I'll surely be wearing mine.

I recently ordered a pair of Livingston Black Brushed Cotton Trousers. I am most pleased with them. Not only are they well made, they fit well and are great looking. This is a very well made suit. The fabric is heavy and the jacket is lined. I am 5'5" and the skirt is a little too long but otherwise both pieces fit well and will suit my needs perfectly. It is simple enough that it can be changed with different blouses, belts, lace, etc. I am very satisfied.

After buying a used Uberti .45 cal. SAA for $479, I was anxious to find a nice-looking holster. I was disappointed and astounded to discover the holsters I liked were priced from $350 to $550 and more! I certainly wasn't going to spend more for a holster than I did for the handgun!! After searching the internet for a couple days I had almost given up hope when I found this one by Historical Emporium. It was around the price I originally hoped to pay, and it looks fantastic! Nothing fancy, just a great-looking gun belt and holster…exactly as it should be! And, by the way, if you're looking for fancy, they have those as well! Regarding customer service, I mis-measured myself the first time, so the first holster to arrive was too large. The White Gambler Dress Shirt was an excellent choice for me because I can dress it with my wranglers or dress slacks. I loved it so much I ordered the Black one.
