I love this shirt and everything about it but again where are they getting the sizing from? I wear a XXL in EVERYTHING! but when I got this it is closer to a XXXXL. I had to get the shirt taylored to fit me.

I love this belt but it is small. I had to add an extention in the backjust to make it fit. If you were a toothpick this might fit you. Everything else is just perfect.

A nice boot but I have no idea where they got the size chart. If the Ball was not so close I would have to return them. They come about 3 sizes to big on what the chart says. A nice boot for the price. If your ordering them make sure you go 2-3 sizes smaller than the chat.

I like it a lot however it is not made very well. As soon as I touched it some of the glued on rivets fell off and I had to super glue them back on. The tag on the strap is in a bad spot and had to be trimmed and colored into hide. Nothing really that serious took all of 5 min to fix. The only thing i did not expect was it throws your vision off a lot and gives me a head ach if i have it on too long. The tint on the lens is cool. I used my dremel and added many accessories to it. All and all for the price you just can’t go wrong.

I was really impressed with the quality weaving of this Derby. It's firm, but comfortable. The intricate detailing of construction (the quality of straw, and weaving thereof) gives me confidence of its durability and long lasting use I search for.

I ordered the Austin Shirt and already received a vest that I would be wearing with it. the shirt was lighter weight fabric than I anticipated and that made it one of the most comfortable shirts in my closet. The collar and front buttons will look better with a little starch, so, I'll starch them a little after washing. The shirt looks fantastic and fits beautifully!

This is a really outstanding shirt for formal wear or smart casual, as is the reverse pattern in the Erp shirt. These shirts are very well made and cotton and print are very good quality. Get a lot of positive comments on the shirts. I have bought a lot of the Hist. Emp. shirts are they are all very good, cannot get anything close to these shirts in Australia for three times the money. Just go and buy as many as you want, you will not be disappointed!

The fabric is sturdy, the style is victorian but not overwhelming. Makes a nice outfit when paired with slacks or a skirt. Can be used as a outer garment in spring time. Looks great with a frilly jabot. Fit is true to size chart. If you do not want a snug fit, buy one size up.

These pants are made for me. The sizing matched my normal size so that was awesome. Gotta shorten them up and pair with some suspenders!

This is a beautiful waistcoat that will help with my Patrick Henry impression. Not completely accurate for the 1770s and I had to replace the modern buttons with pewter buttons but the V-neck was covered properly with a Colonial cravat and the appearance is overall very satisfactory. It is also very comfortable.

A previous reviewer said this was just a modern tie, which, when tied in a Windsor knot would hang below the vest. It's not true. I tied this in a Windsor, and the length is just perfect. Nice wide period-looking knot, and the length is just fine. A shorter modern tie just wouldn't have enough length to tie in a real Windsor. Of course, this WOULD be too long if tied in a four-in-hand. Be sure you're using a real Windsor knot.

good quality.....good fit......My only problem is that the hammer loop did not reach, I tried to lengthen it but it was too tight. I will contact by phone or email to see if and how I can adjust the hammer loop. Otherwise I am completely satisfied with the product.

Great medium weight vest, good for the warmer months. Sizing is correct, rare in this world, I'm about a 45 chest and the large fits just right. The stripey fabric goes good with lots of shirts. A Yale man might even wear it over a t-shirt.

Lovely jacket. Good fit for me. A little disappointed about the quality of the buckle at the front, which was plastic.

I love these trousers. They look great from the front but be aware that on large fellows like myself, when coupled with suspenders they look a little like a pair of wading trunks one might wear trout fishing. My advice is to never wear them without a vest or jacket on of some kind to cover the waist.

Absolutely fantabulous value. They gave me a few blisters to start with, but any leather show may do that and they soon wore in. Over half the shoes I've ordered from overseas have been too small for me and cost three or four times as much, but not these ones. Lovely fit. Great look. And perfect for antipodean exploration.

Another great looking and great fitting shirt. Love the tin star buttons, a nice touch! Came on a hanger and protected by a garment bag. I am very pleased with this shirt, right from opening of the box to the washing and wearing. I was impressed that it came on a hanger and covered with a thin plastic garment cover, not shoved into a bag like so many I have bought from other sources. I'm very happy with the fit, even after washing, and how comfortable it is. Shipping and customer service was excellent so I'll be buying more items from Historical Emporium in the future, that's a fact.

Decent belt. I would go an extra size up from what you'd think you need.. Decent leather and is perfect for the cross draw holster.

Decent quality for the money and more comfortable than a buscadero style rig. I'm a part time reenactor at an Western themed park in NJ and this holster has been more than sufficient.
