I was relying on your store for the authenticity of the badge, but my research on internet tells me otherwise. 1. Authentic badge for the badge has 2 1/8 inches, yours are less than 2 inches 2. Authentic badge has AT (Arizona territory), your’s says AZ. Therefore I had to purchase the authentic replica from Ebay.

As warned they are long in the inseam but with my high top Preacher Boots who cares. The canvas is heavy duty and the fit is good. I ware a 36 waist but because they sit higher than normal, I went with a 38 waist; and I'm glad I did because they fit perfect and work well with the classic suspenders I bought. As far as the historical emporium company goes they are first rate in my book.

I have a substantial grey beard. This vest is suitable for my visits as Saint Nicholas' younger brother--his, ahem, younger, handsomer brother. A Santa Claus suit is a costume, a vest is clothing--and a step up in refinement from lighter weight vests I have worn. As an occasional performer of ragtime and kindred older piano, such a vest is expected. Of course for the role as a piano-playing Santa Claus, this burgundy vest is best.

I am always wary of ordering clothes by mail or from the internet, but I needed a Victorian/Edwardian club-collared short, so I took a chance when I stumbled across The Gentleman's Emporium. To say the least, I'm glad I did.The shirt (of very high quality) fits perfectly (which isn't all that common as I lift weights four day/week). So why the "two perfect fits" title? Given this initial experience with the company, I'd say The Gentleman's Emporium is going to be an equally perfect fit for me. (Expect more orders.)

I was excited with anticipation while awaiting the Black Wool Inverness Cloak I had ordered from Historical Emporium. I was looking for a formal heavy wool garment to wear in New York City winters that would give me a dash of Victorian panache. Though this garment seemed to be put together well, the wool fabric was fairly light with only a minimal satin lining. The pockets in the lining were so thin I would hesitate to even carry my house keys in them for a single evening. From the descriptions and reviews I had read on line, I had expected a more substantial outer garment that I could wear on a regular basis. In reality, I would regard this as a nice piece of costume rather than a functional garment. I regretfully had to send it back.

The cane is very well made. The black gloss finish on the wood is beautiful. The brass mermaid handle feels solid in the hand and its surface is well polished and shiny. A very dramatic looking accessory at a reasonable price.

I collect fans, I like this one very much, and will be making many more purchases.

The Opera length lace gloves need to be made out of stretch lace, or have different sizes, ripped when I put them on and couldn't ware them to there length, overall I could have made them myself,had I known.

OF ALL the places I checked, this site had the closest to the derby I was looking for, albeit I would have preferred a LIGHTER shade of gray, which proved to be impossible to find! ~ Maybe if enough people request a lighter shade, the company just might consider producing them as an additional color option.

This item was a anniversary gift from my wife that I had contemplated purchasing for some time. The vest fits me very well and will be a great addition to a sports coat and slacks, or, to a suit. It also provides an extra layer for the colder months of the year.

This is the best period lab coat I've found. It's easy to add accessories on to it. It was also easy to hem.

Good goggles. My only complaint is that the strap broke on them after the first use. But it is easily repairable.

Purchased as a gift for my father, it is a beautifully crafted belt and holster. He absolutely loves it. I will say, it is very stiff, so if you need it for a costume or part of outfit you will wear, purchase it a bit sooner to break it in a bit. Other than that, we couldn't be more pleased!!

I ordered this for the father of the bride and it was perfect under his grey suit. He was the talk of the evening and received many compliments on this distinctive vest that gave him a very distinguished look and set him apart from those in the standard matching three piece suits. Very well made and definitely a piece that he will wear again and again. Sizing of XL, which he wears in everything, did seem more roomy than other pieces he has, but the back buckle fixed that.
