If you want a coat that attracts attention, this is it. There is much material (and thus much room) in the coat underneath. so it works with just a vest, or a full frock coat. The material is a medium weight - if it was heavier the coat would weigh too much to carry around. I like the material - not a super quality but close enough to a fine wool to pass, and it seems sturdy enough for good service. Be careful on a windy day - the cape can blow around.

I have always had trouble finding a vest that is long enough, and Historical Emporium has what I need. This vest is long, and I didn't even get the tall version. Also, I like this material blend - it looks like wool, and that is the point. The herringbone pattern adds to the effect. All in all, a fine vest to wear to the opera.

These are well made, period correct, appearance-wise. The back looks like canvas, buy is elastic. This eases movement greatly. Good, heavy weight material.

I have 2 other "Fundamental Work Shirts in other colors. All 3 are excellent and comfortable. The workmanship is excellent. This Forest Green one is a gorgeous color. I use all of my Historical Emporium clothing while Cowboy Action Shooting.

I'm between hat sizes so I usually by a size down and use a "Hat Jack" and a bit of steam from the kettle for a perfect fit. The hat is quality with some nice accouterments out of the box. I added a few more and received many compliments during the Steampunk Ball. Wore it all evening without any discomfort. Nice hat.

I absolutely have fallen in love with these Khaki trousers. I have integrated them into my daily wardrobe, and for my body type (medium/large - "Husky" build), suspenders and trousers like these are a perfect fit. I've paired these trousers with a brown leather shoes, a light brown tweed vest, and a light blue collared shirt that has a cream and white check pattern in it for a timeless, dapper look. I would love to immediately buy 3-4 more pairs of these and add them to my wardrobe, however my size (40) is out of stock, with no replenishment date set by the manufacturer at this time. You better believe I'll be checking back for these on a regular basis so that I can buy some. In the meantime, I'm considering going to a local tailor and having a couple of pairs of Chinos made that feature the high waist, and the suspender buttons that are featured in these trousers. These are absolutely fantastic.

Has some really nice details/finishing, and adjustable ties at the back to make the fit better without a lot of tailoring.

Coat was purchased for a Mary Poppins musical production. The fabric is a very nice weight, flows nicely, and had enough stretch in it that our Mary was easily able to dance without restriction. The price was reasonable for the quality, and coat is highly recommended.
